Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PortugalThe only down point we consider is the location. It's not a major blocking point, as said, there are several good local spots to get local food very near, however the surrounding area reflects the confusion and authenticity of Bari, and is a 20/25 minute walking distance to the old town city center. If you wish to visit the beach, count on a 40/50 minute walk to the main one, or try to catch a bus instead. It all depends on how you want to enjoy your vacations and your priorities. Another down point is that the shower draining was working very bad, but we did flagged this to the Host to see if they can solve it. As this is a new construction, more likely this is a construction problem, not necessarily a problem with the Host. Every time we showered we had a pool in the bathroom which was very complicated to manage, but hopefully the host has solved it in the meantime and all will be great :)
The host was very nice and available. The building is brand new and there is still some construction going around - but considering you're in holidays and you're not in the house during the day, that's not an issue at all. The room is extremely spacious and very comfortable. Small kitchenette with appliances that allow you to get a take-away from near restaurants and eat at home (which we did). It has several local restaurants with local food at super affordable prices at a short walking distance. We had a very comfortable stay and would definately recommend.

PolandThere is an error in the booking, because the 4-person rooms do not have a balcony, even though according to the room description we should have a balcony. The balcony is only for smaller rooms for a shorter trip (we were for a week). The neighborhood is quite noisy, so it was impossible to leave the window open at night, but fortunately the room was cooled by air conditioning. The kitchen lacks small but important things like salt, pepper and dishwashers. We bought these ourselves. In addition, there were only 3 chairs in the room for 4 people. In addition, I regret that a laundry dryer was not available. Due to the lack of a balcony, there was nowhere to dry beach stuff
The room is in accordance with the description and photos. Quite small for 4 people, but for 3 it fits perfectly. The mattresses were very comfortable, on the plus side the blinds that completely darken the room and the air conditioning. There was a large bathroom, towels, a hair dryer and a steam iron that worked very well. A microwave and most needed utensils were present in the kitchen. I appreciate the great contact with the owner.

United KingdomA lot of things. We paid lots of monies for couple of nights. AC was not working effectively during very hot August in Bari. It stays around 24C. Contacted the owner, he did something; still did not work. I have pictures of the control panel. The power turned off while only AC and hob was running; after multiple Whatsapp messages with the owner I had to go downstairs and fix the issue at the switchboard. I believe the electrical side of the studio was not fitted properly; doesn't support the appliance they put in there- AC is not fit for purpose while listed as a facility. Kitchen was advertised as facility- barely nothing was there.
