Nothing, I would book here again.

Our stay at this apartment was absolutely delightful. The apartment was impeccably clean - not a single speck of dust to be found! Its location was ideal, with shops, restaurants, the archeological area, and the beach all within a short walking distance. The owner, Giusi, was a pleasure to communicate with, always helpful and friendly. The bathroom was modern and spotless, featuring a fantastic shower. The kitchen was well-equipped and stocked with tasty treats, including cookies, cakes, and delicious coffee. We wholeheartedly recommend this apartment and would happily stay here again!

    Lacking window.

Very quiet area. Apartment was really clean. Plenty of parking spaces around the apartment. Close to beach and town center.

We mistakingly thought this accommodation offered bed and breakfast. The advert on Booking.com was very misleading. The breakfast was a little basket containing some small packets of dry processed toast and cake. Perhaps this is what Italians eat for breakfast? We presumed a breakfast catering to all nationalities would be provided. We stayed in numerous apartments throughout Sicily during our holiday - all of which were classed as Bed and Breakfast. All of them supplied tea, coffee, milk, croissants, bread, fresh fruit, yoghurt etc. We just presumed this apartment supplied the same as everyone else. There was no kettle - only a coffee machine which made espressos! There was no milk or fruit or fresh bread/croissants. This was very disappointing, especially since we (a family of three) had a very long journey ahead of us the next day. We ended up driving to a supermarket some distance away to buy healthier, more suitable breakfast items. I think this tiny little studio is very nice, but it shouldn't be advertised as a bed and breakfast! The studio is absolutely tiny. I think it would be ideal for a couple, but really not suitable for a family of three or more. There was no space to open all our luggage. In the middle of the night, the power went out in Gela. A very bright emergency light came on in the tiny studio, which woke us up. The air-conditioning also stopped working due to no power. After around an hour, the power came back on, but unfortunately, we were all wide awake by then. We understand this is not the fault of the owner - emergency lights must be installed in rental apartments, but there should be an option to cover this blindingly bright light in order to get back to sleep. We were all absolutely exhausted in the morning. Not ideal before embarking on a long journey home.

The apartment was very clean and looked brand new. The bed sheets were good quality and super clean. The host was attentive and very kindly brought us a beach umbrella and a chair. He also went out his way to bring us some butter, which we were grateful for. The apartment is within walking distance to the beach and the town.

The hosts were amazing! From the property it’s very easy to get down to the beach and the nearby archeological site. Gela has so much ancient history.
