Absolutely perfect. The place looks much better than in the pictures. Quiet, clean and friendly staff. Keep in mind that you are in the countryside and it is very possible to have uninvited guests - a few centipedes appeared at our place. Nevertheless, I recommend it.

Spacious rooms with confortable bed and nice bathroom. Breakfast very well served with a plenty of options and delicious home made cakes and breads, and fresh fruits. The location is beautiful and close to the main beaches of the region. We enjoyed Fontane Bianche, which was only 5 minutes away by car.

We loved all of it , we could have appreciated to have our dinner onsite and a pool would be the cherry on the cake (to come for next year). Follow instructions to get to the Baglio to avoid getting lost We would definitely come back

Says in booking.com a pool and private beach is available. Both are not. Jacuzzi at 25eur/45min is not a pool.

This place is an absolute gem! Super chill vibes in the countryside, perfect for getting away from it all. The rooms are cozy and really nicely done up, and the staff are just awesome—so friendly and always ready to help. The peaceful surroundings are ideal for kicking back and relaxing. If you need a break, this hotel is where you want to be!

That we were not able to stay longer.

Everything was spectacular! The pictures do not do it justice. The farm has been renovated to the highest standards and each room is unique and beautiful. The outdoor space and proximity to the beach were icing on the cake! The owners and staff went above & beyond for us; there is no ask too little or big. When looking back at our month in Italy, Ballium was a highlight. The time we spent there as a family was truly memorable! We travelled as a family of 4 (2 adults/2 young children) and the accommodations were very spacious. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own bed and personal space. There was a refrigerator and kettle. Huge bathroom with wonderful shower. But the true gem is the abundance of outdoor space. We spent the majority of our time sitting outside chatting, playing cards, having meals. It was a wonderful respite from long days out & about. Truly a magnificent stay all around.

The only thing we regret about Ballium was that we didn't stay longer than 4 nights!

Fantastic, a beautiful, hidden gem in a nature reserve with a special beach just a couple of minutes away. Perfect location to explore the baroque Val di Noto towns as well the Vendicari and Cavagrande Cassibile nature reserves. Valerio and his team are super warm & welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay. Very clean & extremely well kept - the photos do not do it justice. Can't wait to go back!

They could use a swimming pool and perhaps some better signs from the main road.

The Ballium is gorgeous and the rooms are great. Staff is kind and helpful.

Ballium was indeed absolute luxury - pure comfort and luxury, whilst maintaining the history of the amazing old mill and farm building. The room was amazing - the huge, comfortable bed with crisp white linen being the highlight, but also the balcony with sea views, and even the bathroom! Renovated to an incredible high standard - modern and sleek, but homely and comfortable too. The location was quiet and calming - with stunning mountain views on one side and a view of the sea across the country fields on the other. The family running the place, a long with the hotel manager were super friendly and nothing was a problem - they really made the stay!! The breakfast and the homemade lemon sorbetta (which was given to us on arrival and throughout our stau- perfect way to cool off from the intense Sicilian heat) was absolutely delicious!
