The view was picture perfect, the staff were extremely helpful and bent over backwards to help us with parking, transfers and bookings. Every small thing was done perfectly, and the breakfast was sumptuous.

Incredible breathtaking views and beautiful property in one of the most beautiful towns in Italy. Hosts were amazing, picked us up and dropped us to the station, provided great recommendations for restaurants etc, and made us feel like family. Included breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Five stars isn’t enough to rate our stay.

I liked everything, but there are steep stairs in the property (no elevator), it will be difficult for anyone with mobility problems. Nothing unusual in Italy, but worth pointing out

Our stay at La Veruta was a highlight of our vacation. Antonio was welcoming, kind and went out of his way for us and other guests. The breakfast was outstanding- omelettes, pastries, fresh fruit, espresso and more. The property is right on the water and the sound of the sea plays in the background all day and all night. One of the best experiences in Italy we have had so far. Property is run by family Antonio who is a face of the property and Nella who is “gray cardinal” ❤️ of it and who takes care of the all delicious food you get for breakfast 😊 just a warning… if you think of not having breakfast, notify hosts that you won’t have one, for Nella not to wait and prepare for you. Need recommendations for a good restaurant for dinner, ask Antonio and you will get a reservation… Places he suggests are amazing. Honestly there is so much to say from our 3 nights stay, I could write here an essay… if Booking.com would allow ratings above 10, would give 20!!! Also worth to mention, Scilla and part of it where B&B is located, is so chill and nice. Imagine, if you dine in a restaurant one night and next morning you are greated by that restaurant owner (our guess) when he sees you… And yeah, Antonio’s motto is “don’t worry” and he delivered it to max! Pay attention, you have private bathroom, but you will have to exit your bedroom to get to it. Bathroom is on the same floor, just need to cross narrow stair case. Bathrobes are provided for this.

Wow what a place !!!! We love every single minute in this B&B. Room was very nice and clean all what We need was waiting for us. Most spectacular was the view of the sea and the sound of waves. Special thanks to Antonio and his Mom for exceptional hospitality , we felt like in home.

The property was beautiful! We had 2 balconies. One overlooking the sea with jaw dropping views, the other overlooking the charming street we were on. Every attention to detail was thought about in our accommodations. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had robes and toiletries. Breakfast was provided every morning and made thoughtfully by Antonio’s mother. We were offered homemade Italian pastries, cappuccino, and a combination of meats and cheeses. We were sad to leave this charming village and Antonio and his mother! It was our favorite experience in Calabria!❤️

Everything, our host, Antonio was wonderful, so kind & helpful. The breakfast was abundent & delicious, all homemade by his mom. Room had a balcony with a beautiful view right over the ocean. Close to many great restaurants. A husband didn't want to leave. The perfect example of a friendly, warm italian village.

This is a precious place - magical, with balconies overlooking the sea, intimate. Spotless. A beautiful breakfast (too much good food!!) and best of all Antonio who went above and beyond. He picked me up from the train station and brought me back to the train station as well. But more than that, he is just so friendly and caring. Best experience in Italy!

Location was great, room very comfortable and clean. Breakfast -homemade cakes amongst many other options were very good. Staff friendly and made you feel comfortable. The balcony overlooking looking the water from your room was so relaxing, and the view was great.

Wow! Want can be said about a property that is literally ocean side. We had the pleasure of spending 2 nights and 3 days here and Antonio and his Mom are perfect in every way. From parking to our greeting and welcome to our room to a perfect breakfast every morning, we could not have asked for more! Antonio was available and always gave us great recommendations on dinner and anything else we needed. Top notch and this BnB is now our #1 favorite we have ever stayed in!

We can't say enough about La Veduta, Antonio, and his mom. The view is amazing, and the B&B is literally right on the water. Antonio is the most gracious and attentative host we met during our one month / 8 locations vacation in Italy. From meeting us at the train station, making the best coffee we had in Italy, keeping us company while we ate the delicious breakfast his mom made, making dinner reservations, to driving us to the ferry, among other things. We loved our time at La Veduta and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Booking.com limits the highest review rating to a 10. However, exceptional quality must be recognized. We wish we could rate our stay at La Veduta to a 2 X 10! Antonio and his mother Nella are the most caring and thoughtful hosts we have ever met. Their sense of humor, their positive energy and their attention to our needs was heart-warming. Every moment with them was a pleasure. Our balcony had a fantastic view of the sea which included the Castello Ruffo, the village Chianalea coastline and even a peek of Sicily. We lost track of time while listening to the lapping sound of the sea when sitting on the balcony. Our room was bright and tasteful. The bathroom was spacious and immaculate. Our rooms were cleaned daily with care. The breakfast spread offered us a variety of locally sourced and fresh items, like prosciutto, cheeses, eggs, fruits, pastries, bread and yogurt. The coffee was expertly made by Antonio; we enjoyed more than a single cup each breakfast. Antonio helped us carry our luggage and gave us a ride to the train station. We highly recommend La Veduta. This is where we are planning to stay when we visit Scilla in the future.
