Room size was good. Having balcony with swinging chair was very nice. The room was extremely clean. Breakfast was a delight. Rosaria, Giovani were very kind and helpful. The sausages made by the dad were great and the cakes made by the mother were mouthwatering. We have a very nice stay.

Giovanni and Rosie were the greatest hosts! We loved getting to know them a bit rather than the impersonal service in hotels. Room was comfortable. Loved the balcony with the swing chair. Breakfasts were great - especially Mums chocolate cake!

Nothing. It’s close to everything - the beach and town centre restaurants and shops. There is a slight hill that leads up to the property which is great for walking off all the fantastic food you will find in Tropea !

Everything! The room and balcony were just beautiful. And the view!! The family were so friendly - I loved my stay here. Giovanni and his dad picked me up and drove me back to the train station which was so helpful as I had a heavy suitcase. The home made food for breakfast was amazing. Rosaria is a wonderful host. I felt so at home here.

My mom and myself had the pleasure of staying 8 nights at B&B Leonida in May 2025. Rosy, Giovy and their parents are exceptional hosts, both in their customer service, their personality, their genuine care and curiosity. They helped organize activities for us (boat excursion & agrotourism). It was so nice to get to know them. They’re present hosts but not intrusive. A Perfect balance! The rooms are kept very clean. The breakfast / lunch are so tasty and abundant!And the coffee 👌🏼 B&B Leonida is located outside of the hustle, it’s nice to get away to a quieter area. We personally liked to walk to and from town. We’ll cherish the memories spent at B&B Leonida.

Great place in Tropea with a secured parking spot. We were greeted by the host with homemade cakes and a cup of coffee. The room was huge and very clean. The communication was so easy.

The hosts, Giovanni and his parents Maria and Antonio and their friend Rosella, made me feel as if I was part of the family. The location was convenient from the train station (just a little bit of a climb) - with a view of the sea and Stromboli and a short distance from the historic center. Breakfast was amazing.

My mom and I had the best time!! We are still talking about Leonida many days later. Everything was perfect, we loved all of it. We are pretty picky when it comes to accommodations and everything was perfectly clean and safe. Yes there is a walk (many reviews mention) but the walk is worth it!! We can’t wait to come back. Giovanni - you are truly one of a kind!! You made our holiday perfect, we loved meeting you. You and your father truly made us feel so special (like family)! Thank you!

The walk to the main beach was about 20 mins downhill there, and about 25 mins uphill back. I don't mind walking at all, however in the blistering heat in the midst of summer it was a bit challenging at times. Definitely not a factor that should change your mind about staying, as it's still close enough to everything that you would want to access in Tropea.

Before we arrived, Giovanni had sent us a message to inform us of some things to do around Tropea, which is helpful if people are less familiar with the area. There is gated parking included with the stay. As soon as we arrived and while preparing the room key, Giovanni offered us some refreshments. We felt very welcomed from the beginning to end of our stay and we would definitely recommend it to others thinking of staying at this place. The room has a nice balcony with what we call a suspended "egg" chair".

Very warm and welcoming greeting. The business is run by the family so you can really feel like in home, hosted by authentic Italian family. The food served at the breakfast was delicious, everything that was served was homemade. Giovanni was very helpful and met our checkin/checkout needs beyond our expectations!

Situated on the hill, next to a bit messy building estate, not ideal to walk back home in the evening for elderly people having knee problems.

B&B Leonida is a place which has a soul of its owners. As many previous reviews I can only say excellent, great, outstanding. The owners make the difference, not the place, the location or anything else. They are the people, who have created great atmosphere, if you need advise they always are ready, if you want just to talk they do it as well, if you need a silence they respect it too. The apartment is spotlessly clean, with everything what you need. The breakfasts differ every day. The location is a plus, peace and quiet in the night and not far from the centre. Giovanni picked me up from the train station despite my flight was seriously delayed and dropped me at my departure's day. Grazzie mille per tutto.

Not a thing, everything was perfect!

This b&b was the best experience we had in Italy!! If we could give 11/10 we would! Giovanni and his family are the friendliest hosts we have ever encountered! From picking us up from the train station, to welcoming us with a drink and snack on arrival, to the home cooked DELICIOUS breakfasts, to giving us recommendations throughout our stay, Giovanni went above and beyond to make our stay such a memorable experience. Honestly we felt like part of the family 🫶🏼 Hopefully one day we can come back to visit, or maybe you can come to Australia to stay with us 🦘🇦🇺

A bit challenging to find so make sure to check before (especially if you travel without car as I did)

Lovely hosts, breakfast made with thought and love, very spacious bathroom, terrace, excellent service (I had help when coming and leaving by Giovanni as even though station near, a bit tricky to get there)
