Very very clean, amazing bad's and memory foam pilows 😱 . The howse looks like a museum very big and stilish . It was more that wee even expect . The owner provide for us a tasty italian breackfast, water, cofee, milk. Wee trully loved it !

It was only one small detail that might have got away: we didn't have any kitchen paper towels... but this cannot change our overall superlative impression.

I'll start with the location - quiet and peaceful street.... we parked our 2 cars on the public parking spots (Blue zone). Also within a 15 minutes at most, walking distance, of the city old center. Cafeteria in the immediate vicinity (Via Plebiscito - 2 minutes walking distance) Cleanliness - simply OUTSTANDING Bathroom & Kitchen - everything we needed (for me the coffee machine was essential :-) ) Rooms - spacious, comfy beds and linen, while the high painted ceilings and wooden windows shields completed the atmosphere Access - self check-in/check-out with the keys in the locker. Very good communication, both before and after check-in with the owners. Owners - although we had self check-in, they have noticed our arrival and greeted us, also bringing additional towels for our children. Breakfast - we've been provided with the typical Italian products (milk, cereals, croissants, toasted bread, jam and butter) and... enough Coffee

Our fault as we did street parking and did not take parking option, but area is very dangerous at night as cars get broken into and parts from car stolen.

Amazing apartment, comfortable beds and cozy living room with enough space for my big family of 7. Close to center and to some nice local restaurants. The included breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend!

I do not like the pushy communication style, I am not supposed to interact just because my contact has been provided, boundaries need to be preserved.

Pretty comfortable stay, four rooms are sufficient to accommodate 8 people. Spotless cleaning, location not directly in the center but easy to access on foot. Breakfast vouchers provided by the property are great, the cafe is close by and pasty are tasty.

The apartment is excellent! Has everything you may need for comfortable and easy-going stay. Clean and tidy. It is decent distance from downtown, in calm neighborhood (walking distance from city center). The host is very kind and willing to support with any question before or during the stay. We had amazing time in great venue, excellent value for money. Only positives! Greatly recommend.

The only thing I would like is a shelf in the shower so you can put the shower gel and shampoo on it

Lovely house with four high ceiling rooms and living room kitchen each with its own working air conditioning. It has two bathrooms with showers. Very clean and with comfortable mattresses on the beds. They had water for us and Coca-Cola for everyone. Breakfast was at a cafe 200 meters away that had savory and sweet options and whatever drink you wanted. The parking is on the street but you can find it very easily around the blue lines. Everything was perfect. The person in charge was very helpful

There is nothing to not like about the apartment. The only issue you may find is that the upper room is a bit smaller than the ones on the first floor, but apart from that everything was great. After all you will need the room only for sleep.

The apartment was amazing with all the things you would need for your stay. It is located on just 10-15 minutes walking distance from the main street of Catania. The neighborhood was quiet and there was always a space to park in front of the building, you just need to pay and get ticket from one of the small parking terminals o the streets. The communication with our host was really easy and straightforward. We received two vouchers for a coffee bar 5 minutes away from the apartment that the host gave us for free breakfast for all the guests.

There was nothing we disliked about the apartment. However, it was very difficult negotiating streets, pavements, steps etc with a child in a buggy - traffic crazy fast and surfaces were very bumpy and uneven, not very child friendly or for anyone with decreased mobility but I suppose that is the way with old historic cities.

The apartment was spacious bright and clean and beds were comfortable, It was convenient to the historic centre and we also had a lovely big park with a playground to chill out in with the 2 year old, on our doorstep. We were given vouchers for breakfast for local lovely Insigne cafe, for each day which was a great bonus.

It is a little bit noisy outside of the building, but this is how it is in Catania.

Very spacious, clean and modern apartment. It is fully equipped with all you might need. Comfortable beds and pillows. There were fruits, bottled water, soft drinks and coffee as compliments from the host. Very nice breakfast included in an nearby bakery. Good choice of salted and sweet delights. And Fabio - an amazing host, very friendly and helpful with all kind of information one might need. I full heartedly recommend this location in Catania.

The only negative is that we had problems with the hot and cold water in the bathroom, it changed very abruptly, but I guess that can be fixed by the host, or with some setup instructions.

Last week we were at Fabio's place, 6 people in total. The apartment has 4 bedrooms, 2 of them with smaller double beds, 2 of them with king size double beds. There was a large living room + kitchen, the kitchen was very well equipped and also suitable for a longer stay if you cook your own food, make coffee etc... It was excellent clean! Everything in the apartment is big and spacious and suitable for 6 people. There was a nice inner courtyard for the smokers. The apartment is located about 10-15 minutes walk from the city center, in a quiet and good neighborhood. Fabio was on line for questions and he was very helpful. We had vouchers for breakfast at a nearby patisserie, which was a very nice compliment from the host!

Apartment is very clean and has everything you need during a stay. Homeowner takes care of you and is always available in case you need something. Location is great, everything is reachable within just a quick walk. Check in and out is easy with a flexible hours. There's air conditioning all over the place. Kitchen for sure is an another strong side of the appartment - well equipped with a table capable of doing breakfasts or even dinners if you want to for 6 and a corner sofa. All the above made our stay pleasant and convinient. Strongly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

We travelled a group of friends and the stay was perfect. The apartment is spacious and very clean. The kitchen is very well stocked. The host was responsive and eager to help. We'll definitely stay at Apartamento Martoglio if we come back to Catania. We strongly recommend it

It is really nice apartment where you can see that owners invest lot of love in it. It was beautifully decorated and perfectly clean. Check in was very smooth, and without problems. Air condition was in perfect state and heats well. The host left us some coffee, cola, water and fruits in the apartment. The breakfast was near and we had great coffee and croissant. It was already clear to us that they are running serious business and we would highly recommend this apartment. For us the center was in walking distance, but bus station is also near so you can go by bus if you don t like walking.

Fabio and his wife are very nice and welcoming people. We checked in around 10 o'clock. They waited for us with fruits, coca cola, water in the fridge, cookies and we had coffee available for the whole stay. The apartment is very spacious, renovated and very clean. It is also very well located, just 10 minutes' walk from the center of Catania. Fabio always responded very promptly to all our questions. I give a score of 10 from all points of view and I warmly recommend this apartment. Thank you Fabio!

The noisy street. Dirty streets. Showers are extremely unreliable as to whether they are scalding or freezing!! But…. This is Sicily!!
