Nothing, we loved our stay!

We only stayed one night at Trappeto Vecchio as we wanted to break up our drive between Sicily and Matera but we wish we had stayed longer. The property is so beautiful and peaceful, and the rooms are so comfortable and clean. Enzo is an amazing host and we had one of the best meals of our trip made by him and his staff! The fresh orange juice he serves in the morning is also amazing. There’s a reason this place has such amazing reviews. Highly recommend staying here!

The hospitality and warmth with which we were welcomed by Enzo and his family was unique. The rooms were simple but very clean. The food - we always booked dinner in the evening - was excellent and always too much. The pool was marvellous and the surrounding area was perfect for relaxing. If you want to experience Calabria authentically, this is the right place!

Perfect accommodation in a beautiful and peaceful location. The family were wonderful hosts. Friendly and attentive. The breakfast was delicious and we opted to eat there in the evening too. The food was home cooked and plentiful. Amazing.

The bathroom was a little bit too small, the shower was a bit too tight and the toilet was fit to a corner and was uncomfortable to use.

The place and surroundings is absolutely amazing. The host as super friendly and down to earth. The home made food is abundant and so genuine. You can totally relax, let go and just stay there as food is catered for.

Everything is absolutely superb. When you come to the Agriturismo it is the same as when you come to visit friends or family. The experience we had here cannot be compared to a 5-star hotel or B&B. Strongly recommend. Also recommend eating dinner and lunch at Agriturismo. Home cooked food and you get a lot of food. You won't go hungry. fantastic swimming pool and lovely view. Simply amazing place to go and relax. Do not hesitate to book this very special property at all. You will be hosted by Enzo and Emanuela who will guarantee you trip is perfect. The photos don’t do it justice really. The food we had each night was some of the best we ate in all of Italy. Brilliant value and varied each night. The pool is large and clean the rooms are great with good air on etc. The whole stay is made special by the hosts though. Attention to detail and desire ensure you are well catered for.

Everything was perfect! Enzo and family are very kind. The food was so good, made by Enzo’s Nonna. We loved it. The house and swimmingly are beautiful, great view, alle is very good taken care of. One of the moest beautiful places we visited in Italië.

Nothing it was perfect.

Such a treat to stay at Trappeto Vecchio as soon as we arrived Enzo made us welcome and at home. His family and helpers were brilliant. My husband and I so enjoyed our two nights. Wish we lived closer. We met a couple of returning guests which speaks for itself. The food was beautiful and was In abundance and the Rose wine wow. Love this place, great place to chill and recharge as we continue our adventures through Southern Italy.

Room was slightly small and when we arrived a storm had knocked out the a/c. However, this was helped by a provision of a very large fan.

The food is amazing and all home cooked. The hosts were welcoming and helped with every request we made. The homemade rose wine was out of this world. Best food we had during our 3 week stay in Calabria.

The bathroom was a bit small, especially the shower, but it did not detract from the lovely time we had.

Enzo was a wonderful host and we felt as though we were treated as much loved family members, rather than just guests. The food was amazing and the produce was all farm grown. We had a very lovely experience.
