How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Everything was great!
Antonio was a wonderful host, the rooms beautifully decorated, and the beds VERY comfortable. Definitely, home away from home. The location is fantastic, and there's a beautiful park right across the street. Just about anything you need is walking distance. Would stay here again if we visit Reggio Calabria in the future. (The common area was a nice touch. We enjoyed it)

The room was beautifully decorated and updated. The bed was very comfortable! The common area was a nice plus. Antonio gave us some great restaurant suggestions, too. The location was perfect! Close to everything. Would definitely stay there again.

The pressure of the shower is fantastic. The place is super clean and organized. Antonio gave us instructions to move very easily through the area and to get into the house. Highly recommended. Fantastic view of the park.

Very nice location close to the train station, and not far from the Lungomare. Very comfortable bed, and stylish and clean room, Host thought of many small touches, like splitters for the plugs. Although the apartment is shared, my room larger with private bath felt private. Air conditioning was strong, and a nice view over the park.

I wouldn't say I disliked it, but the Sunday breakfast took place at another cafe, and it was alright too, but I liked the other (Mo-Sa) cafe that is in the same building way better. The Sunday one was more than decent, though! The staff in the Sunday cafe were super polite as well, whereas the other cafe was normally full and the service was more rushed, so it's a trade-off, I guess.
A big shout out to Antonio and his team, we would definitely come back again. The idea behind this accommodation is to make travellers feel at home, and Antonio succeeds at it. The location is extremely nice, it is on the main road, it is super close to the central train station and right next to a park. The breakfast vouchers were easy to use. We liked the breakfast, there were 2 cafes that accepted them: one on Mo-Sa right in the building, and another one on Su just 2 minutes away from the building. We especially liked the cafe that works from Monday to Saturday. Of course, even in the apartment itself, there were always lots of long-preserved treats (like packaged croissants or sweets) in the kitchen area. Oh, and the elevator in the building was super cool (really old but special and with an amazing old-fashioned aesthetic).

Excellent location. The host Antonio was very easy to communicate with and he provided us with many recommendations for local restaurants. The fridge in the communal area filled with water, juice and yoghurt was a lovely bonus.

A beautifully designed flat , with an exceptionally high quality of furniture and exquisite colour combination of walls , ceilings and curtains! On top of that you have a luxurious living and dining area . The cherry on the cake are the balconies overlooking a park and an enchanting pedestrian road ! One of the best places I have ever been . Well done Antonio and her arquitect mother which was involved in the design !

otherwise everything was good and excellent Antonio was a nice and warm host would love to go back his apartment again

Breakfast i didn’t like much because only allow to take one croissant. The cafeteria didn’t allow me to get different food neither sandwich. Its better book without breakfast.
