“TEA Luxury really has the wow factor! This boutique hotel is right in the heart of Praia a Mare, literally in the town square, which made everything so convenient. We were offered an upgrade, but we chose a room with a balcony instead—and it was the perfect choice for soaking in the atmosphere.
Parking was easy, and the beach, shops, and restaurants are all within walking distance. The room itself was comfortable, with a coffee machine and plenty of little goodies provided for breakfast. There isn’t a dining room, so breakfast is more of a self-serve experience in the room, but it worked well enough for us.
Overall, a stylish and well-located stay—I’d happily recommend it.”
“Perfect location at the beginning of the center of this little gem of town. Stuff is very attentive and helpful, communication in Italian easier or with hands 😃 the room had a cute balcony, comfortable bed, nice bathroom.”
“The family/owners of the property came to pick me up at the station and gave me a lift to some attractions too. I was lucky to have the upper floor for myself in the first couple of nights . I stayed in Tramonto room which had everything I needed including an electric kettle. I moved into the Mare room when I decided to extend my stay for another couple of nights to explore San Nicola Arcella and visit Grotta di Acomagno to do a stone balance sculpture before closing time . Praia a Mare has a relaxing vibe in September. The locals are friendly and the train station is more functional than other Calabrian tourist destinations I've been to. I highly recommend Il Giardino Delle Rose for independent travellers who don't mind walking a lot but there's always a bike or a car to hire if needed be.”
