It was a really beautiful property with several places for enjoying the southern France sunshine. We loved to explore the area in the morning and then come back in the afternoon to swim in the pool and read in a shady spot on the grounds.

It would have been nice if there would have been air conditioned option for eating in the summer heat

The hotel is even more beautiful onsite than in the photos, the visual experience is immersive and flawlessly executed with very good taste. The breakfast selection is not the widest, but everything on offer is handmade to a high standard. The area surrounding the hotel also adds to the same experience, the feeling of immaculately beutiful provencial countryside starts some kilometres before arriving at the hotel itself.

All went well during the three nights we stayed over.

The building was well refurbished and the surroundings were stunning with the view to the garden. The staff was really helpful with all our needs.

The metal stanchions in the parking area make it a challenge to park a large SUV, especially one with a parking assist system malfunctioning. Greatest concern, the locked gate a few feet away from the narrow and dark road. On the first night we weren't told that our key card unlocked it, reception was slow to do so. WHen two cars are in the queue, one is likely to be on the road. Very dangerous!

A beautiful, impeccably mainrained property. The breakfasts are superb. Dinner at the restaurant is enjoyable. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. Parking adequate.

When wind blew very large sunshade in pool and nearly hit one of us, no care or apology given ! The staff were there and wind had already caused some shades to be put down.

Room and dinner very good; breakfast outstanding. Wonderful setting . We really liked the waiter and waitress for our evening meals and the man at breakfast amazing. We have been before and will go again

Nothing to report. One thing with can’t be helped - mosquitos in the evening. But the reception would gladly supply you some mosquito repellent if you need it, so you can still enjoy your dinner in the garden.

We simply loved this place!!!! I have stayed here a looooong time ago and really wanted to return. The hotel blossomed since then, everything is kept well maintained and up to date. Everything here is just exquisite!! Wonderful rooms, most comfortable beds, the breakfast in this place is something else, I believe it is the best I have ever experienced. The chef makes a huge variety of fresh breads on top of pretty much anything you desire. The garden is stunning with a lot of garden furniture to relax. There is also a pool, which is a huge plus on a hot day. And the proximity to the castle is very convenient. The dinner at the hotel restaurant is a must have as well!

We had dinner on the first night. It's a high french cuisine, and honestly quite expensive, but the food didn't meet the expectations. We didn't return to have dinner again there. Beside that, the hotel is perfect.

The facility is exceptional, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The area is magnificent, with a nice village on top of the mountain, and small villages nearby to have a fresh croissant in the morning. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Benvengudo is a gem in Les Baux-de-Provence. The rooms are charming and immaculately clean, and the staff are genuinely warm and attentive. The location is serene, offering spectacular views of the Alpilles Mountains, yet conveniently close to historic sites. The on-site restaurant serves exquisite Provençal cuisine. A truly unforgettable stay!

I am not sure if there was a supposed to be drinks service in the garden before dinner, but having received the drinks menu, there was no-one to take the order which was disappointing.

Breakfast is alway outstanding and this was no exception. The setting and the gardens are a delight to be in especially as our room led directly into the garden.
