It was total chill out for us and beautifully isolated. Victor was a fanytastic host and gave us lots of information on the area. We will return to this stunning part of Galicia.

Located 600 metres from Silgar Beach in Sanxenxo, this resort has 2 different buildings, and offers elegant rooms with free WiFi and views of the Pontevedra River. We loved everything! This resort was one of my favourite places in a very long time. I speak minimal Spanish, and the staff were so accommodating. I liked it so much that I’ve already booked a return visit with my husband in April.

Keine Klimaanlage, aber ein Ventilator ist vorhanden. Die Anfahrt über das letzte, enge und steile Straßenstück ist etwas abenteuerlich. Praktisch: kleiner Kühlschrank, weniger praktisch: keine Kofferablage. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Using Sat Nav to get to the Casa took us 3 different routes but the Casa is well signposted ( Green signs “ Casa Urcela). Pontareas 10 min drive away, nice little town, plenty of free parking, EROSKI Hypermarket as well as other smaller shops, bars, cafes). The Casas (Urcela and Cribeira) have main buildings for bedrooms with a sunny communal eating area where a lovely fresh continental B/F is served by the family. The pool area is lovely with ample loungers and shaded seating areas. There are two very friendly family dogs and the family make you feel very welcome in their home. The main languages spoken are Portuguese and Spanish. Our room was quiet and cool - no A/C however the standard fan was sufficient. Very basic toiletries ( small bar of soap and bottle of hand wash), no hairdryer although I am sure the owners would lend one if needed. Parking outside the rooms (few steps up to rooms). Shaded areas with tables and benches to eat ( we took disposable BBQ) and plenty of wooded areas for dogs to roam.
