- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 483 reviewsPerfect Safari experience on the private game reserve. We nearly saw all of the Big 5 and many other animals. The animals are in general very relaxed because Sanbona is a non profit organization and therefore the pressure on the animals is held on a low level with limited people and trucks. The ranger was well educated and taught us many interesting things. The tented lodge was very beautiful. Highly recommendable!Guest review bygeri85Austria
- From US$101.32 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 16 reviewsI've been to quite a few self catering places this year and nothing compares to River Edge. The finer details, like arriving and the hot tub is already warm, welcome gin and tonic with a lemon, enough towels for bathing and swimming. Air fryer. Fire lighters, filter coffee.... to name a few It was the best office to work at during our mid week stay. Will recommend to families and couplesGuest review byLouillaSouth Africa
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,704 reviewsIncredible experience, all staff were very helpful and friendly especially Fatima from the restaurant and Thorn from the bar thank you for making our experience special. We stayed in the deluxe room and the view was amazing, we woke up to seeing elephants every day. The game drives were great, we saw all of the big five except the leopard and the rangers were very informative.Guest review byPhillipartUnited Arab Emirates

Lots of great places to eat out, try a delicious pizza at Pili Pili Beachfront restaurant for example, just pack a blanket if its cold out, as its set up on a type of veranda, they do have outdoor heaters though. The beaches are lovely. Perfect surfing area with options for beginner surfers to advanced. Surfing with the dolphins was a huge highlight for my teenagers. There is a skateboard park. Lots of great factory shops of various brands in the surf village. Addo Elephant park is not very far away, so also worth doing a drive through.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

An attractive country town nestling in the Langeberg mountains. A Spar and other shops are there and fuel available. The Cape Dry dried fruit activity is in the town. The Museum and NGZ Mission church were interesting. Street cleanliness was quite good- little litter. We felt safe walking around in the daytime.Guest review byJohnSouth Africa - 10.0

Robertson is a wonderful place, lots to do. Great wine farms and lovely people. Food is nice as there are many locations for lunch, breakfast and Dinner. We always travel here for the wine farms, so safe to say if you are a fan, you are in the right place!Guest review byAnnetteSouth Africa - 6.0
Tranquility but the roads was not good at all.
Tranquility but the roads was not good at all. For non residents of Cape Town you should take into account that it is quite far from Cape Town centre and the price for Transport transfers are very high. Please do not try Aquila the price is relatively very very high and not worth it.Guest review byHeemandanee DeviMauritius - 8.0

It was my first time visiting Worcester and i was amazed by the cleanliness of the town even in the townships. The area is safer and most places i visited, i was greeted with great service. The place has lots of places to visit. If you are a wine enthusiast, then you would enjoy some wine tasting places. I also enjoyed coffee shops and town lifestyle.Guest review byWelcomeSouth Africa - 8.0

On arrival, we were greeted by overflowing sewers pouring out into the main road. Smelt so bad, we could not go near the liquor store near the main road. Apart from that issue, the rest of the town was great.Guest review byDouglasSouth Africa - 10.0
We should have called the farm manager from Barrydale,...
We should have called the farm manager from Barrydale, because when we arrived at the locked farm gate, we found there was no reception. We couldn't reach him, and it was soon getting dark, so we had to keep driving until we got signal again, which only took five minutes. Wann, the manager, was soon there and opened the gate to paradise for us... remote, behind two other farms, we were able to spend comfortable days in this Karoo resort. Wann was always available, and one evening his wife cooked us a delicious meal. A river, a hot tub, an ice bath, peace and quiet, and an endless sky—what more could you want? This is the place to be for anyone needing a break. For more romance, under the stars, bring candles and reading lamps.Guest review byIsabellaSouth Africa
