The staff was super attentive and arranged everything we needed: from pick-up/drop-off to the airport to early check-in and beverages while waiting. They also provided us with a super nice early take-away breakfast at 5:30 AM. The owners were super nice and helpful. The room was very spacious, clean and comfy. I will definitely stay here again when I'm back to Port Elizabeth.

We loved our stay at Morgan Bay Hotel - the location couldn’t have been better! We really enjoyed the breakfast and took our coffees down to one of the little tables next to the beach afterwards to admire the view. We had an amazing stay at an amazing lodge. In particular: great food, spectacular views and super well organized safaries in the mornings and afternoons. From the moment you arrive at the gates, you can fully relax as everything is well taken care of. Thanks also to Melanie for making the Safaris unforgettable and for spotting all the animals we would otherwise have missed as well as for the vivid and detailed explanations.

Just perfect! Just out in the bush everything was clean and comfortable. The most friendly staff and a good kitchen. Great hiking possibilities as well to enjoy nature. They are building a new restaurant and will turn parts of the old restaurant/bar into rooms. Just hope they keep some parts of the current restaurant for a drink since it has the most beautiful views!

It was a challenging drive to the hotel due to the conditions of the roads, but once there it was magical. The staff were lovely, the room was spacious with a beautiful deck and a hidden garden. Breakfasts were awesome. It is a great place to hike and walk, I felt very safe walking on my own on the Bluff. I can't wait to go again.

The general degradation of SA coastal towns is evident and is costing the economy hundreds of millions as tourists are put off by high crime rates, poor service in some shops and municipal lethargy. Water restrictions are in place due to poor planning by unqualified municipal executives. Municipalities need to raise standards by hiring people who can prove their effectiveness and have qualifications and/or experience with testimonials. MacArthur pool was empty. Indifference seems to be the order of the day. Makro is a great store to visit. Addo game park is also recommended. Cape Recife is a great drive. The weather was warm and traffic flowed well.

Lots of great places to eat out, try a delicious pizza at Pili Pili Beachfront restaurant for example, just pack a blanket if its cold out, as its set up on a type of veranda, they do have outdoor heaters though. The beaches are lovely. Perfect surfing area with options for beginner surfers to advanced. Surfing with the dolphins was a huge highlight for my teenagers. There is a skateboard park. Lots of great factory shops of various brands in the surf village. Addo Elephant park is not very far away, so also worth doing a drive through.

I liked the cleanliness of the room and the friendly staff. I wish you can improve on your breakfast, put more effort on it and also use nice tasty sausage. I couldn’t use the phone in the room to make phone calls to the reception so I had to use mine which was not fair. The food at the restaurant was delicious and I didn’t even have to go out.
