- From US$122.66 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 579 reviewsI really enjoyed my stay, travelling alone on a road trip to fill a gap in schedules. Great fun place, my room was in the newish area but was still characterful, quiet and quite luxurious.. Dinner was interesting, quite an impressive dining room and a real experience. Breakfast ditto. Restaurant staff friendly and cheerful.. thanks they made me smile.. The gunfight was more for kids but was a bit of fun, all good and the bar after was quite wild.. good live music.. I recommend this hotel.. Parking easy, all the hotel staff were lovely and good fun, I really thought I had met Buffalo Bill in person when I came down for breakfast..Guest review byNavman1Spain
- From US$212.79 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 6.2Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 2,092 reviewsIf you are looking for a no frills homey cabin vibe this place definitely checks the boxes. It was a basecamp for us to check out Grand Teton NP and provided a lovely, warm, comfortable space to get out of the snow storms rolling thru at the time. Literally the most comfortable beds I had ever slept on,and the staff were warm and inviting.....they even helped me dig my buried car out of the snow the next morning, this place is a keeper!! They also had a communal lodge area with games, pool table, etc to relax if you wanted to hang elsewhere than your room. I will definitely be coming back.Guest review byKristenUnited States
- From US$590.13 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 640 reviewsThe place is really nice, very comfortable with a big room with two double beds, nice shower, all very clean and breakfast was good. The place had also a little pool, sauna and spa. They also created a nice area near the river with seats around a fire where you can rest, read a book or have a drink. Location is perfect because it is 5 minutes walk to the town center and near the entrance at Grand Teton NP. The also have a laundry which is very handy. We had a perfect stay!Guest review byLuisaItaly
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 378 reviewsWe loved the swimming area and the jacuzzi , I hoped though there were a heaters in the swimming area , the water is warm but when we get out of the water the winds were so cold we had to go inside quickly . I hope they install heater system around the pool area so people can swim more often in winter.Guest review byMohammadSaudi Arabia

Great high end city, great shopping and restaurants.
Great high end city, great shopping and restaurants. You can take day tours and the city is completely walkable. You park your car and never need to use it until you leave. So beautiful too withe surrounding mountains. A special place. This was my second visit, I was there in the summer of 1999. It did not disappoint.Guest review byDebbieUnited States - 10.0

I cannot give an appreciation on this town. I was just travelling by and stop for a night to sleep and then continued with my trip the next morning. But for what I saw when travelling across, I can say that is is ok.Guest review byAbraham-Bethel - 10.0
Close proximity to Yellowstone. The wether was great.
Close proximity to Yellowstone. The wether was great. We liked the picture of the baby moose that was born at the resort that was in the binder about he Hatchet Resort. We saw a moose, elks, 2 wolves, and a mama grizzly bear with her cub on the way back to the Hatchet Resort from Yelllowstone. The resort room was very quiet and comfortable. It was great having a breakfast grill and restaurant plus a grocery store and gas station at the resort. We had a great time!Guest review byKevinUnited States - 10.0

I booked this as a stop between Boise and Boulder and was pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. Mesa, at the front desk, was very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and featured a microwave, desk, coffee maker, two comfy queen beds, and a large TV. The rooms were quiet, I didn't hear anyone else even though I know I had neighbors. The breakfast was far more than expected and a great way to start my day for the remaining five hour drive. I would book here again for sure!Guest review byLaurenUnited States - 6.0
Gillete is a very small town with zero public transport so...
Gillete is a very small town with zero public transport so the only reason to go there is if you wanted to visit the sacred mountian "Matao Tepei" / Devils tower / bear lodge (1st national monument). You;d really have to get your own vehicle or find some local to help (you;d have to be really lucky to do so) there is no other way to commute really, the 2 taxi services in Gillete have closed down, nobody offers tours to this place, the community visitors center has no information or help either, and Gillete has like 1-2 max cars for ubers and they dont show up often... Going from huelet instead of gillete via drive / tour or doing this epic mountian visit as part of a longer south dakota - wyoming bus / preplanned tour might be a safer bet. They offer tours from denver / salt lake which are very economical, well laid and safer bets for people who are not driving or not familiar with these places as they are wild and filled with just open spaces for long distances so one can feel stranded if all by themselves and not knowing where/ how to commute. The internet is bad and you lose maps too in certain pockets. I went to gillete as that was the only closest city to this mountain but I had no idea they dont have a single tour / facility / way to go to this place at all! its an untapped business segment actually as this mountain is truly sacred and worth visiting and nobody offers its tours from its closest city! This 'Matao Tepei' mountain, the sacred place is magical and must be visited for sure as it has a very powerful energy and truly extraordinary but reaching here is a bit challenging so plan ahead.Guest review byNeha lohiaUnited States - 8.0

Good shopping, friendly, college town, fairly decent places to eat. Lots of UW Cowboy gifts and shopping to be found. The Bent & Rusty is a GREAT gift shop, Dodds Shoes has an amazing selection, 17th ST Cafe was pretty good. The Accomplice is not bad. Altitude Steak House is pretty popular. Pretty good service, make a reservation there or go early on a Fri/Sat evening!! And Chano's Village Mexican Restaurant is pretty good too....busy!!Guest review byTheresaUnited States - 10.0

People in Sheridan were very polite and friendly. The city center has many nice shops for those wanting to shop. Very clean city and saw no free ranging people (homeless). Also adequate dining facilities in the area.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
Had a quick stay here.
Had a quick stay here. Tried a steakhouse in Rawlins but it was not very good and was overpriced and the bar was out of basic items. There was one wine selection to choose from. The city is nice & we probably should ask the locals for food advice next time we travel through.Guest review byDebraUnited States
