- Scored out of 10, guest rating 6.5Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 32 reviewsI always receive exceptional and friendly service. My stay is always a very easy going experience, comfortable, affordable and enjoyable. They have very clean rooms, fresh clean linen and plentiful towels and toiletries. Plus, the showers are very nice and very modern. I recommend the deluxe room, especially for couples, or more.Guest review byPinoUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 6.9Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 158 reviewsThe owner was excellent! No frills check in, brief tour of the room to explain the tv and heating/cooling, then I was left to myself. He was cheery at check in and checkout. This is an older property but felt very clean and safe.Guest review bySandersUnited States

Nice town with everything you would need in the way of stores and restaurants. Gas was much cheaper also. There is also a casino close to highway with easy access. Must see tours to Lavender farm and Tonto National Park (only 13 miles away from hotel). Also a super Walmart for shopping not far from hotelsGuest review bycountrycarmenUnited States - 8.0
It was historic and looked that way.
It was historic and looked that way. In other words it was authentic and a bit run down - kind of like Jerome and Bisby. Its on the way to Rosevelt Lake and the Apache Trail which is something to behold.Guest review byAnonymousUnited States - 10.0
We love Payson!
We love Payson! Just a short ride up from Mesa that allows ur to get away to the mountains on short notice. The thrift stores on main street are our favorite destination when we go up. Fargo's is a great place to eat also!Guest review byJimUnited States - 8.0
This was our first visit to Globe and the surrounding area.
This was our first visit to Globe and the surrounding area. Its a charming mix of history, mining, rustic and contemporary. Between nearby Superior, Miami, Claypool and Globe, there is plenty of available food and shopping. An absolute must-see while in Globe is the Besh-Ba-Gowah Archaeological Park and Museum. It was once home to the Salado people. Watch an interesting 12 minute orientation video about the history of the location, then into the adjacent gift shop and museum which houses an amazing collection of artifacts excavated from the site. The archaeological site itself is just steps away. Restrooms are available and entry is adults $5, Seniors $4, kids under 12 free.Guest review byYinofsedonaUnited States - 10.0
We visited Payson and enjoyed the outdoors around the area.
We visited Payson and enjoyed the outdoors around the area. We hiked Horton Creek trail and later got to enjoy some nice rain. Huge shout out to 260 Automotive whose helpful staff made our day by kindly fitting us in to do a repair that got us safely back to Phoenix. Can’t thank them enough!!!!Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

I go to Globe often for work so I don't like go around seeing what to do for fun or anything like that. I do know some things and that is the food in the little restaurants they have are good. The newest (probably only) sushi spot is great and also the owner also runs a pizza joint right next door to the sushi spot. The Mexican restaurants are pretty good and then your basics fast food is also present. Also just west of Globe is a town of Miami which you pass before going into Globe from the 60 has good Mexican places also and not far off the 60. Miami places to try The Burger House and Guayo's El Rey. Globe places to try El Rey, Irene's Real Mexican Food, La Casita East, Bloom (sushi) and Guayo's On The Trail.Guest review byGeorgeUnited States
