Close to many places. Bushkill Falls was great. Went to Dakota Wolf Preserve, which was wonderfully. Make sure you make reservations. There's outlets, American Candle Shoppes, antiques and thrift stores. There are many wineries and breweries also.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Mt Airy Casino Hotel was nice, clean, friendly staff. Room was nice, 6th floor overlooking golf course. Rooms do not have refrigerators (unless you pay for one). The 2 restaurants we ate in were good, Guy Fieri's, Bisteca (excellent). We stayed for 2 days with a group to celebrate a 65th birthday. Guys got rained out of golf so we went to a winery in Stroudsberg one day. I would recommend this hotel for stay of 1 to 2 days.Guest review byEileenUnited States - 10.0

Very pleasant stay at the SwiftWater. The view from the room of the woods and deers roaming was a unique experience. Dinner at the onsite restaurant was pricey yet delicious. The staff was extremely polite, professional, and helpful. The pool was relatively small but enjoyable and warm. The Blakeslee area is small, mountainous, wooded and charming. We ate at two very nice restaurants for dinners, and the Terra Cottage is an interesting and wonderful place to have breakfast. Not much to do in Cresco. Stroudsburg is about 20 minutes away and a cute little town but stores keep odd hours and you'd be hard pressed to spend more than a day there. There is a decent sized outlet mall maybe 15 minutes away. Mt Pocono has practical shopping (WalMart, Dollar Tree, Harbor Freight, grocery stores, etc.) and a bunch of fast food. When making a reservation, confirm that the room has a heating system, if you reserve during winter. In summer rooms have an A/C. Know that the amenities are very limited and the WiFi is very weak; the phone hotspot was also weak (ATT). The phone desk was not working, but it could have been that phone alone (?).
