Biloxi was an awesome first time visit for us.
Biloxi was an awesome first time visit for us. Enjoyed the great seafood restaurants. The beautiful ocean scenery. A must stop is the Visitor center it was very informative. Visiting the Jefferson Davis library and home was a trip highlight and well worth the admission fee. If you're into gambling there are many places to try yor luck. If you have blue state plates like I do, prepare yourself for police harassment. I have never in my life been pulled over for going 4 miles under the speed limit and then told not to come back and try Florida instead. We travel to Pensacola/Navarre Beach Florida from Kansas every year and always stay overnight in Olive Branch. It's a nice little half way stop for us to stay. The Historical places and museums were outstanding! 10 out of 10. The food scene isn't much if you're a foodie BUT Key City Brewery made it okay. It was so outstanding that we ate there every night of our trip. The river view is nice. We stayed by the river and I would definitely recommend. Our view was stunning. Absolutely oozing with historic charm! Such a treat to be right on the peaceful Mississippi River. If you like grand & gorgeous Antebellum mansions, Natchez will not disappoint. Take what you need. Vending machines are high and not much in the way of choice. I was traveling across country with a full car,dogs and things I was moving with, so I didn't really think about anything. There are parts of Meridian that feel unsafe. I've been there 4 times now. Since I'm only staying one night at a time, I don't feel like spending a lot on the hotel.
