The 3rd floor is a great entrance area - self-chek in, relaxed, functional and feels like being home with all amaizing design furniture, tv and sofa's area. Great social connection, some people are relaxing, others having a drink, someone is working, feels like great atmosphere. All is very modern, love it! Rooms are compact, but perfect for a solo traveler or a couple with one suitcase. Possibility to stream netflix on TV in the room sunc with my phone. And loved my window view on 12 floor, all was super clean!

FAQs about hotels in California

The American Dream

From the searing depths of Death Valley to the snow-capped peaks of the Lake Tahoe mountains, California is a wonderful US state that sums up the American Dream. Nowhere is this more evident than Los Angeles, the home of Hollywood and many stars who grace its red carpets.

In the south-west, Anaheim has a great range of Californian hotels near Disneyland where the magic of the movies comes to life. Sun-drenched San Diego, located close to the Mexican border in the state's south-western tip, is a popular spring break destination as is Palm Springs in a valley surrounded by rugged mountains.

In the well-known wine region of the Napa Valley the vineyards produce some fantastic wines, while Monterey is best known for its spicy cheese and the beautiful coastline that becomes the Big Sur coastal drive. Another driving adventure is the fabled Route 66 and parts of it pass through California, ending at Santa Monica pier.

Along the coast is beautiful Santa Barbara, and further north San Francisco is home to a good proportion of Californian hotels with indoor pools on Booking.com. The Golden Gate city is set around an exclusive bay which ends at Silicon Valley in San Jose, while famous Berkeley University is just across the water. The stunning natural beauty of Yosemite National Park is further east, while Sacramento is to the north-east.

When the time of our check out, my daughter forgot our mangoes in the table, she realized it when she came down , I was at the reception area to check out, so my daughter told me she go back to the room to get her mangoes, but sad to say, the room cleaner said , there was no mangoes at the table. Can you imagine in less that 5 mins the mangoes are all gone, so I’m just curious, every time we request for a makeup room, what are the possibilities of them the room cleaner attendants , for being honest & not taking any items from our luggage or shopping bag once we just leave it on the floor . That’s the only problem I encountered in your hotel. Honestly up to now I’m still worried if I lost something or not.

    What a pleasant stay!

What a pleasant stay! This city is so easy to get around with the BART and MUNI systems. People are so friendly all over. Yes the Tenderloin is not the best, but we never did feel unsafe whatsoever - even in the roughest areas. Very touristy. But this is also what makes you feel a bit safer. Even asking police for directions was enjoyable - they're so friendly and funny!

My first time in San Diego and was not disappointed.

My first time in San Diego and was not disappointed. Great weather, friendly people, felt very safe walking about. A few homeless people, but they seem to keep themselves to themselves. Easy to get around on the new trams. Busses are $2.50 flat fare, reliable and plentiful. And train services across California. Compact city, so quick to get around. The harbour front is great with a long promenade from the airport all the way to Seaport Village, with great views, and plenty of restaurants. Can recommend the seafood at the "Dockside" upstairs near the Star of India sailing ship. Also walked to downtown and found a great cafe "The Corner Bakery Cafe" on Broadway, fantastic food! We visited the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier, amazing, and took a 2 hour harbour with Flagship Cruises. Also took the Trolley Tour hop on and off bus with commentary. It visits all the main attractions on a loop service, great for first time to get to know the area. Be sure to pick up leaflets with discount vouchers in many food outlets. At the harbour front there is a kiosk where you can get discounts on some attractions. Went to the zoo which was a great day out. I'd not seen Polar Bears or Pandas before. The Orang-Utans were hilarious! You must also visit Coronado Island, great food and beaches. Easy to reach by bus via the toll free bridge.

The city was clean and nice. We felt safe walking late at night. There were some mental heath homeless people at night. But durning the day we did not see anyone sketchy. Everyone was pleasant and friendly. We has a car and were able to see other areas that were not as well kept as Anaheim. It would have been nice to have more time to see more of the area.

Sacramento is my home town. Been here 45 years. It's nice but has its run down areas. It definitely could use better employees for the businesses around my area.. customer service sucks in most places therefore I refuse to even go to those places... And they're mostly family owned and family ran and trying to apply for work sucks. I get turned down most places I've applied too. Sacramento is not what it used to be and it's sad

I liked the area of the property as its right next to the on and off ramp for the Hwy. Its right next to the Denny's, well as a Walmart super center! Theres also Wendys, and Starbucks across the street! Its far enough from the inner city were there tends to be a lot of riff raff as well low scale crime, as well as drugs. I felt at peace, and you can tell that the management puts a lot towards 2training her staff! Real good hard-working staff as well as very courteous and attentive to the guests needs! I figured that there would be a lot of noise and everything else that's associated with hotels that are more cost effective.

Unfortunately most museums and the botanical gardens were closed when we were there, we arrived Monday and left Thursday, it seems to be a city that mostly works Thursday to Sunday. The hotel was walking distance from the city center, easy to walk around, beautiful city, we didn't have enough time to do the hikes in the canyons, I would love to go back for that.
