- From US$490.65 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 688 reviewsAs we arrived, we found baby deers in the garden among the lodges, which gives you the measure of how this place is immersive into nature. Our lodge was huge, with a comfy balcony just in front of the Zion rim where you can enjoy the sunset. Pool was great. Clean and cozy, zero noise, with clean towels available for guests. Easy parking. The restaurant nearby is also excellent. The day you want to visit the park, you just need 2 min walk to the visitor center. This was also our honey moon and the staff prepared a very nice surprise in out room. There's no enough words of appreciation for Cable Mountain Lodge!Guest review byEnnioItaly

Only stayed in Kanab for one night and late in the afternoon. Loved the Toadstool Hoodoos which is located at the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument just before getting into Kanab and it is only a 1.7 mi RT hike. Loved Wild Thyme restaurant. Had their salmon dish and we shared a delish dessert. Went to Moqui Cave. Very interesting story of the lineage of the Hopi Cave told by the employees. It is very touristy but very cool to check out and if you are into rocks, gems, Native American jewelry, it is a must stop. They have wind caves there but didn’t have time for that. A beautiful area. Reminds me of a mini-Sedona. History of old Hollywood filming westerns in Kanab.Guest review byKristin - 10.0

Springdale is a picturesque little town right at the gate to Zion National Park. It has a good selection of lodging, restaurants, and shops, including outfitters for active pursuits in the park. We can recommend Oscar's and Spotted Dog restaurants for any meal and Porters for breakfast. Zion Outfitters, conveniently located right at the walk-in footbridge into the park, is a great place to rent water boots and hiking sticks for the Narrows hike.Guest review byMarkUnited States - 10.0
Panguitch is a special place full of wonderful people.
Panguitch is a special place full of wonderful people. We were traveling through here when my husband was hospitalized for 5 days. Everyone, hospital staff, hotel owner, laundry mat, pharmacy, etc...were very helpful and kind. Cannot say enough good about it. My husband joked if he were younger, we would move there!Guest review byMulkin - 10.0
We spent one full day at Bryce.
We spent one full day at Bryce. We saw the most spectacular night sky with milky way visible to naked eyes. It was very quiet and peaceful at night. We did the Navajo and queens garden loop which was around 3 miles and covered most of the canyon. Views from Inspiration point and Bryce point are the best. Sunrise at Bryce point was amazing.Guest review bySangramUnited States - 6.0

There is not much in Hatch - we drove about 10-15 miles to Panguitch to Joe's Market for groceries. We did not have any meals in Hatch at whatever restaurants were there. Panguitch had several restaurants where we ate and enjoyed.Guest review byRebeccaUnited States - 10.0

We have been visiting Cedar City for the past 8 years while our kids were attending Southern Utah University. We love the city and surrounding areas. There is so much to do, but in a small town. Views are beyond beautiful, and all the people are so kind. We will continue to visit, and possibly retire there.Guest review byWendyUnited States - 8.0
Quiet, friendly, family oriented town.
Quiet, friendly, family oriented town. I felt safe walking around the entire town any time of day or night. Prices were a little steep in all the stores and eateries as you would expect from a town so close to tourist attractions.Guest review bySaperstein - 8.0
Beautiful lodge. View is stunning.
Beautiful lodge. View is stunning. Nice rooms - but very firm beds . Good restaurant, but expensive. Bar made really good drinks. Drive is challenging to those not used to mountain driving. Drive was beautiful though! Aspens were in full fall display!! Stunning! I would consider staying again.Guest review byChristineUnited States - 8.0

We enjoyed our time at Cowboy Country Inn because management was well organized and super efficient. The wifi and Direct TV were exceptional. Escalante has a Catholic church with a Sunday 5 pm Mass. Don't miss Escalante Outfitters - great pizza, exceptional coffee!Guest review byJeniferUnited States - 10.0
Cannonville is in the Grand Staircase/Escalante National...
Cannonville is in the Grand Staircase/Escalante National Monument, so there is beautiful scenery surrounding it and the nearby towns, including Bryce Canyon National Park, Kodachrome Basin State Park, and Grosvenor Arch. What's nice about Cannonville is that it's in a quiet little valley, so is less exposed to the coldest weather and the winds that buffet the higher, more exposed towns in the area. It's on Scenic Route 12, so any direction you travel has gorgeous scenery! A day trip up to Capitol Reef is a little over two hours' drive away, and there are breath-taking landscapes and views all along the way. Loved it!Guest review bykarenUnited States
