The staff was very professional and friendly. My laptop charger broke so I asked the young man at the front desk if he had a spare charger and he gave me his personal charger to use for the evening. That was the kindest thing he could do! I was very impressed that he would go that far to make sure I had what I needed.

Really kind genuine, intelligent staff, beautiful position in the valley surrounded by extraordinary mountains and the Virgin river tinking away. Immaculately clean. I really love this hotel. The rooms are so spacious, clean and super comfortable! The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable during my trip. They also suggested that if I had any hesitation on the safety of my car, I could park next to theirs and they would watch it overnight. (I had no issues at all. I felt very safe). The location is super convenient right off of the highway but still feels secluded, safe and quiet. I loved my stay so much that I booked the hotel again a few months later.

Flanigan's Resort and Spa exceeded my expectations. The location is beautiful, surrounded by mountain peaks of the Zion canyon. Although there is a shuttle in Springdale to take you to Zion National Park, Flanigan's is conveniently located within walking distance to the park entrance. The resort staff were very helpful and provided excellent recommendations. Further, Flanigan's has lovely amenities including hotel room balcony with comfortable chairs and table for enjoying the view of Zion canyon, a clean pool (again with beautiful views of Zion) and a unique labyrinth which can also be used for stargazing at night or yoga.

As we arrived, we found baby deers in the garden among the lodges, which gives you the measure of how this place is immersive into nature. Our lodge was huge, with a comfy balcony just in front of the Zion rim where you can enjoy the sunset. Pool was great. Clean and cozy, zero noise, with clean towels available for guests. Easy parking. The restaurant nearby is also excellent. The day you want to visit the park, you just need 2 min walk to the visitor center. This was also our honey moon and the staff prepared a very nice surprise in out room. There's no enough words of appreciation for Cable Mountain Lodge!

Great location so nice and close to the national park, only a 5 min drive to the entry. Also plenty of shops, restaurants, general store, laundry, pool and activities very close walking distance. The rodeo was also only 5-10 min walk away and was awesome. I ended up booking another night to stay longer. Comfortable room, microwave and fridge. Good beds and nice and quiet. Only stayed in Kanab for one night and late in the afternoon. Loved the Toadstool Hoodoos which is located at the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument just before getting into Kanab and it is only a 1.7 mi RT hike. Loved Wild Thyme restaurant. Had their salmon dish and we shared a delish dessert. Went to Moqui Cave. Very interesting story of the lineage of the Hopi Cave told by the employees. It is very touristy but very cool to check out and if you are into rocks, gems, Native American jewelry, it is a must stop. They have wind caves there but didn’t have time for that. A beautiful area. Reminds me of a mini-Sedona. History of old Hollywood filming westerns in Kanab.

Springdale is a picturesque little town right at the gate to Zion National Park. It has a good selection of lodging, restaurants, and shops, including outfitters for active pursuits in the park. We can recommend Oscar's and Spotted Dog restaurants for any meal and Porters for breakfast. Zion Outfitters, conveniently located right at the walk-in footbridge into the park, is a great place to rent water boots and hiking sticks for the Narrows hike.

We spent one full day at Bryce. We saw the most spectacular night sky with milky way visible to naked eyes. It was very quiet and peaceful at night. We did the Navajo and queens garden loop which was around 3 miles and covered most of the canyon. Views from Inspiration point and Bryce point are the best. Sunrise at Bryce point was amazing.

Cannonville is in the Grand Staircase/Escalante National Monument, so there is beautiful scenery surrounding it and the nearby towns, including Bryce Canyon National Park, Kodachrome Basin State Park, and Grosvenor Arch. What's nice about Cannonville is that it's in a quiet little valley, so is less exposed to the coldest weather and the winds that buffet the higher, more exposed towns in the area. It's on Scenic Route 12, so any direction you travel has gorgeous scenery! A day trip up to Capitol Reef is a little over two hours' drive away, and there are breath-taking landscapes and views all along the way. Loved it!
