GermanyWe only stayed for one night (we'd recommend two though!) but due to construction work on one of the buildings we got a free room Upgrade and the mountainview from the windows but also generally from everywhere on the Farm grounds was just breathtaking. The food was good and there were even a free Mochi-making Workshop and a little night walk around the Farm included. Even though the letter were completely in chinese (which we don't speek) we still joined and had a lot of fun. We also really enjoyed the calm and quiet atmosphere, and as a Bonus we did not need a car to get to the Farm, as a Shuttle Service from and to the Bus Station in Shizhao for arrival and departure was included. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and the trails in that area are easily accessible from the Farm grounds. We enjoyed every second and hope to come back soon!

The perfect location, right in the middle of Feniqhu Old Street, and you can park a bike there no problem.

Large, comfortable room. View changed from hour to hour, cloud sea like an ink painting one moment (not guaranteed, we were lucky), crisp night city lights twinkling in the distance at 4am, I could sit and watch all day long, except you are in some of the best (hilly) hiking in the country. All my photos from a single overnight stay. Good, simple breakfast. Very peaceful feeling. This is for the quad rooms. Smaller rooms will not have the terrace. Older photos do not show the classy partitions between each rooms' balcony. Would love to return for a whole week. We sampled the delicious Oolong tea from their estate and bought some too. The next day, she treated us to their hand brewed Alishan coffee and kindly dropped us off at the bus station, way beyond our expectations. Shizhuo village is downhill, but the walk up is not difficult. The owners are welcoming and kind. This is a rustic location on the side of a mountain, so watch your footing & be prepared for a lack of services. Weekends are very crowded, whereas weekdays are relaxing, but many venues close. A recommendation for Fenqihu area is to look into visiting...
A recommendation for Fenqihu area is to look into visiting Da En Na Ya tribal area (Google it). This is a mountain tribe accessible by car on specialty tour visits, or by train from Fenqihu and another 4km of hike. But the tribal area is worth a visit as the tribe runs accommodation, restaurants, a bakery and is self-sufficient. It carries a high level of dignity and pride in interacting with the outside world, and is truly the highlight of my trip to Taiwan.Guest review byGeneUnited States - 10.0

The front desk staff was super helpful. The breakfast was delicious and had many offerings. The room was spacious, had nice touches such as heated bathroom floors and bed, and each room had special touches that were unique (e.g. our room had glow in the dark stars on the ceiling). The location and views were amazing from our balcony and the property is very close to wonderful attractions, such as HeHuan Mountain.
