This was our second time staying here, when we arrived the manager Yasin was very welcoming and gave us a wonderful room with amazing views! Our room was clean and spacious with fresh sheets and towels daily. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The bar staff always had a big smile on their face, Hassan at the Cozzy bar remembered us from before! We booked in again for a Turkish Spa at the hotel for our first day which we highly recommend. There’s a lovely hard working man named Memhat who sells the spa packages at the hotel, he is always happy walking around the hotel chatting to all the guests. There is a vast range of food options available which caters for everyone. The restaurant staff are very attentive and cannot do enough for you. The location of the hotel is amazing, you are close to everything with the beach on the doorstep and restaurants/shops/bars right outside. You can never get bored of this place as there is so much to see and do, which is why all I think all age groups are there. They made a great surprise for us and upgraded our room. Reservation Assistant Eda helped us a lot in the reservation process, before we came into the hotel. And our Guest Assistants Efekan and Ensar helped us in our stay and made our visit even better with their warm, fast and professional attitude. Room was clean, big and comfortable. Room service was great. Food, drink and the service quality were perfect. Hotel personnels were very helpful and sympathetic. Sea was really good and we liked the design of the beach. Some staff members require proper training, professionalism, and guidance on how to treat visitors respectfully. Yalikavak is apparently one of the most expensive places in Turkey. We felt the prices don’t reflect the hotels and restaurants on offer. we stayed in two hotels in Yalikavak. Our first hotel La local did not reach the pictures and descriptions promised we-moved over to Nixie Beach hotel which was much cleaner prettier and friendlier. We learnt from a local prices have risen 50% in just one year .Communication can be difficult not strong in English speaking. Yalikavak is one hour from the airport costing £40 in English money. We took a taxi ride to Bodrum castle around £30 to catch a ferry to Kos pre booking 2 tickets with direct ferries €48 4pm reached Kos at 4.30pm. We booked a hotel with booking.com but couldn’t book whilst still in Turkey the site couldn’t allow it? There are plenty of sunbeds on the beach. Most of the bars have their own bit of beach and if you eat/drink something then the beds are free to use. The weather was lovely and breezy while we were there. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from and staff everywhere are very helpful and friendly. Its a lovely clean hotel with nice rooms and lovelyy staff we went off-season so was a little too quiet.I would still recommend the hotel .There is a lot of healthy choices at breakfast & a good variety .The loungers in the shady areas by the beach are the best in any hotel I have ever stayed , great to read & have an afternoon nap. Loved staying at Mavi Suite; loved the boardwalk with restaurants and shops, especially at night. Bought some beautiful jewelry at Midwest Jewellery and a unique dress at Singuella boutique. I wish we had stayed in this neighborhood longer than one night as it was super lively and there were so many restaurants and other places to see. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're planning to visit Bodrum. I had late lunch at the OPA restaurant and the next day I got very very sick with severe diarrhea for 2 days my sodium and my potassium levels were under normal and I was dehydrated very badly! The Hotel did nothing at all telling me that the pharmacies were closed due to the weekend. This resort is very unsafe and dangerous when you have an emergency.
