The beach in front of the hotel was beautiful and it was also close to Viking Beach. The location was a 10 minutes walk away from the centre that had plenty of restaurants and bars. The longtail boat took us from the ferry to the hotel when we arrived and from the hotel to the ferry when we left, included in the price. Breakfast had enough choice. One smaller and one bigger room The cleanlines and quality of the rooms are equal. The pool is very nice. It is only 75m from the nearest beach so I used the pool in the morning and afternoon. Stay away from the main town part if you want some quiet. It's over commercialized, and touristy. The resorts are overpriced for their services and amenities. However we loved Long Beach. It was a beautiful beach. If you like tea, I recommend you bring it from home. It's very hard to find good black tea in Thailand. When I stepped off the ferry, I was in absolutely awe, and immediately fell in love. It's a beautiful, small island, still packed with bars, restaurants and shops. I only stayed one night and I think 2 nights would have been enough. I did the phi phi viewpoint hike, which was killer, especially in the heat. It did get crowded for sunset, so grab your pictures before the crowd arrives. You can walk everywhere, no transport on the island as not needed. I ate at the pirate bar/restaurant, great beach view seating. I also ate at a little cafe near my accommodation, but can't remember the name......Guest review byLacyAustralia
