Great place to stay. John the owner is a legend, has great info and tips about the island and is very friendly. Bed was clean, shower had good pressure and the airco was not loud (as in most places). Near a 7-11, night market and scooter rental store. Definitely recommend.

A Slice of Paradise! I had an incredible experience! The people were warm and welcoming, making it easy to connect with others. The beach is beautiful, providing the perfect spot to relax. People from Art of Nature are going to be the best you will ever meet! Hlaing and Maung They were the ones who took care of me! And they really took care! we became friends very easily! I would go back just to see them because they really treated me very well! Hlaing became my great friend, he really is an exceptional professional, he genuinely wants to help you in any way he can! the resort itself is spectacular! So far the best I've ever had! It has an incredible view, super modern decor and I think the best thing about this resort is the details! In addition to shampoo and shower gel, they also give you hair conditioner, they provide a yoga mat and they also provide you with a super good speaker so you can enjoy your music! And if you're hungry they've put a bunch of snacks and drinks in the fridge! would go back again! Art the nature resort take good care of these two boys Hlaing and Maung! Will start with the staff: most kind and adorable staff ever, from door man, to receptionist , restaurant server, to the cleaners, everyone was above kind with us throughout the whole stay. they give their best to give you the best experience possible. The room!!! We got the pool villa with ocean view, and I have no words to describe!!!! it was magical. the view is amazing. the room is huge!! with a lot of attention to details. You can chose your preferred pillow from a list of available pillows. You have detergent if you need to wash your clothes really colicky. a bag to take to the beach with your belongings. they give you lots of free water and also fruit on your room daily. the room was just perfect. if you can, take the pool villa, you won’t regret 😍 The pool: huuuuuuuge pool with a breathtaking view to the ocean. just beautiful. no words!!! Breakfast: not 1000 choices but for our taste is more than enough. AND , the BEST CAPPUCCINO of my life was offered by Panviman !! omg! still dreaming about that cappuccino, and the iced cappuccino!! delicious. please order any type of coffee in the morning and they will give you the best of your life 🤤 The place: the hotel has everything in front of the door! Starting by food : just in front of the hotel you’ll find a food hall (Testy Corner) and I’ll just say one word = DELICIOUS ! Best Thai food ever , and we’ve been in Thailand for more than 15 days already!! we’ve tried every single corner/restaurant there, and all of them were beyond delicious just yummy yummy!!! you will not want to eat anywhere else 🤤 Also, in front of the hotel you’ll find a 7/11, some bars, scooter rental. everything you need. to sum up, this was by far the best hotel experience in Thailand , and maybe Top 3 ever!

    Hotel is located near Haad Rin Beach where Full Moon parties occur. There are shops, restaurants and other amenities nearby. Hotel was great, staff was helpful with information and also helped us with our baggage. Room was big enough for us, AC was working, there was also a fridge in the room. There is also a pool which we only used once. We walked to Leela Beach (totally recommend!) and Sunset Beach. We arrived from Koh Samui to Haad Rin Pier and walked easily to the hotel. A lovely lady working at the reception helped us book a transportation from the hotel to Thong Sala Pier and then to Surat Thani Train Station.

    The resort is surrounded by a number of trees in a natural climate. It is just on the side of Lila beach and 2-3 mint walking distance from Had Rin beach where full moon party takes place in every month. The breakfast can be selected from the menu after coming to the restaurant. Breakfast and dinner can be done in front of the sea beach. Two swimming pool are there in the resort area. Fitness centre also great and there are two A/C in the fitness centre which make the room comfortable.

    The bed was massive and the bathroom was big too. We had a nice sitting area outside with a hammok, a table and two chairs. Although there are quite a few mosquitos due to rain, but the fan was perfect in that situation. Internet was good and free shampoo and a warm shower after some rain, was much appreciated. Few meters from the beach you can enjoy the daily sunset.

    Not the nicest part of island.

    Not the nicest part of island. Geared towards full moon party, laughing gas and fire shows. Quiet when not full moon in a nice way but the town is run down. Haad Rin beach is beautiful though. Saw quite a few families which was nice. Rented our bike from here and explored the island for a few days. Road between Haad Rin and Thong Sala and everywhere else on the East/West of the island is very steep hills to ride by bike.

    I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location. There are much nicer locations on the island to stay, however if you are like me, and like to explore, then this location is best as its in the middle of the coast line, and its close to central heart road ways that take you to any part of the island quickly.

    Amazing place on the island.

    Amazing place on the island. Lots of cafe's, restaurants and more. Nothing is too far really, jump on the bike and go 15min to another spot, be very careful in the corners when riding your bike......lots of people get a "Koh Phangan" tattoo there meaning they crash and the scars. Sand in corners means, slow down!!! I recommend Papaya Massage for great Thai and oil massage. Enjoy a great beautiful Phangan.

    Lovely area on Koh Phangan. Many local and also westernised food places (Ann's and Shish Kebab were our favourites!), shops and of course pristine beaches. Worth hiring a scooter to explore around and enjoy the island vibes.

    Great location , lovely village great restaurants, not over crowded , family friendly. We ate in many local restaurants , the food was superb and very reasonably . Good variety of shops and supermarkets , we didn't travel outside the resort as didn't need to but plenty of taxis if needed

    Aside from the turquoise water, there is a reef just a few yards from the shore where you can snorkel and see beautiful fish, big clams, and coral. Although much of the coral is bleached and dead, there's enough living coral there for adults and kids to enjoy. Since the water is shallow, it's safe to walk all the way out where it gets a little deeper for better snorkeling. The beach is a white sand beach, but we recommend swim shoes which are available at a little grocery store, along with snorkel masks. Many beachside restaurants to choose from. Although there is no public shower, some restaurants have an outdoor shower available.

    I was in haad rin beach, it pretty much is a village. A nice one, but no sidewalks, everything is cheap, a bit dirty. Compared to Phuket it really is a small village. But the full moon party was amazing, so much fun! So it definitely was worth it!

    Location - it was like a dream.

    Location - it was like a dream. And they had a broom right outside our door so when the inevitable sand was tracked into our room, we could clean it up. We never ate in the restaurant so I can't say how it was, but the other options nearby were excellent. If you're staying longer than 3 nights and want to see more than just the hotel and its surroundings, you'll want to rent a scooter.

    I was expecting Haad Rin to be more crowded, dirty, and over touristy. But it wasn't! Yes, there are plenty of shops and bars and the streets are a little lively, but the beach itself is spacious, clean, and so relaxing. We aren't partiers and we had a fantastic stay in this area.
