Loved this hotel, rooms were so nice and clean! Option to have room cleaned every day if wanted. So many restaurants nearby (lucky tree restaurant was the best and only a 2 min walk). Beach super close too. We had the room with the pool outside and was perfect. Extended our stay as we loved it so much!

Great, spacious, and clean apartments, hidden among palm trees, just a few minutes from the beach. Excellent breakfast and food in the restaurant (especially papaya salad nr. 4). Option to rent a scooter or book a tour. I would return immediately. Thank you, Tukta, for a wonderful stay!

We travel as backpackers and as a couple. We just loved it here. The staff is so nice and they do their best to help you! There were only three more guests staying in Cicada Lanta and only us having booked the stay with breakfast, so they opened their kitchen every morning only for us. Very cute! We even booked two more nights, as we felt so comfortable and on ease. The huts are very basic. You'll find everything you need. They are exactly how they look on the pictures and it's very clean. I loved it that the huts are made of wood. And there are so many handmade details everywhere - absolutely fantastic. We do have enough concrete at home. So this just fits so much better! I also love how they created the garden area. We would often sit on our little porch in front of the huts and enjoy the garden or do Yoga. I really don't like all these big resorts coming up. So if you look for a more authentic place but still kind of like to have it clean and nice: This is the place to stay! 🫶🏽

    The communication before arrival was excellent. We were arriving late at night and they helped to make everything go smoothly with someone meeting us at the airport (for cost) but worth it. When we arrived they had upgraded us to a villa with a plunge pool which made our trip. The breakfasts were amazing! Played crib by the pool nightly to watch the beautiul sunsets. As the resort was big we did not have a lot of interaction with staff but everyone greeted you with a smile in passing. The location was perfect for us as we like to walk the long sandy beach and only a 20-minute walk to Saladan. We rented a scooter for 2 days. We are in the mid-'60s and felt safe driving the scooter which allowed us to explore the island and Lanta old town which was fun. We stayed 6 nights and could have stayed longer.

    Pool suite was a perfect for our couple getaway. The hotel has 2 horn bills on the property and our room was right near the nest. It was a joy to see them fly by every day. Surrounding nature is gorgeous. Room overlooked the ocean, lots of trees around, nature sounds and stunning sunsets...all from our room's sun loungers. Staff was beyond helpful. Always cheery and the cleaning crew does a stellar job. Phone chargers were rolled up every day and everything stored neatly. We only had breakfast at the restaurant. It was well stocked and good by most standards.

    Booked a room for our wedding anniversary and absolutely everything was perfect! I barely mentioned the occasion of our stay and we got upgraded to a superior room. Breakfast was on point, the staff are like long time friends, the equipment is everything you need, the room with bathtub is comfortable and stylish, and the beach at the end of the garden is the most peaceful in Lanta.

We loved the play equipment and the friendly staff. We were sad to go and are already trying to see if we can fit in another stay before leaving Thailand.     Very nice hotel at the beach. At Long Beach you have the most wonderful sunsets. We had a beach bungalow with a very nice ocean view. The room had a lot of Space and was very clean. The pool area was also very nice and there is a massage service. There are some shops and restaurants in walking distance. The walking street is only 10 minutes by taxi.

    Staff, breakfast, restaurant, location, beach, room, bed .. everything was perfect! The only little thing is the bathroom without window so it can smell a little bit the humidity. But keep the door close and start the aeration in the bathroom when using it and it's gone👌 It is really really good for the price! I would definitely came back :)

    Visited in low season weather wasn’t great but that is to be expected. Beaches not good for swimming and littered with rubbish. The vast majority of restaurants and resorts were closed. This island has a very different vibe in the busy season.

    Gorgeous location.

    Gorgeous location. Great for families or people not needing a party outside their door. Plenty of tour providers to keep your days well occupied (shoutout to Goodtime travel for being the best service I’ve seen in a long time). Highly recommend Mons cooking school too - so much fun. Take a trip down to beautiful beach for the most crystal clear water.

    During off season (July) the Island is reasonably quiet, many places are actually closed. Still, we had a great time. We had picked the right accommodation and were lucky with the weather, Still, it was often very windy with one powerful storm, which made the beaches useless: high bumper waves with rocks under the surf. Luckily, we had a great pool at our place. Things to do: Great local food everywhere and very affordable. Mangrove and island cave kayaking Elephant sanctuary (go for the 2hrs option if you can afford it) Old Town (great few form the pier and lots of tourist shops) National Park (jungle walk, lighthouse, beach) Many beaches to explore Scooter hires everywhere

    Koh Lanta is a nice island, I went at the end of the season so not too many people. I think in peak season it might be uncomfortable with the number of tourists. The beaches on the west coast were amazing, we didn't go to any on the east coast, not enough time. Lots of restaurants and night markets. Great to walk along the beach and try different restaurants to eat lunch or dinner. The ethical elephant sanctuary on the south of Koh Lanta was an eye opening experience and changed my views. Lots of walks and waterfalls to see.
