Omar, Jehan Ali, Sheikh Asif, and tall guy at live egg. All with genuine, polite, empathtic mannerisms. Although it was costly for breakfast and Lunch,, but I preferred to do so for food safety. Food was ample, fresh with variety. Fresh juice, fruits, vegetables, tea, coffee was always available. Abdul Rahman , the duty manager (exceptional individual), and all other staff I interacted on M1 reception were professional, polite, and attentive to guests. Room service was always present on floors, and I had to call them at odd hours as per my Mothers need, and they helped as requested. The neighbourhood was very dengue .I'm afraid to sleep in this hotel with my family it was unsafe. The hotel very far from masjed el madina it take25 min by bus and there's no bus after each pray ,you have to stay from Asr to 10 pm to come back to to hotel and you can't walk because of construction around the hole and you have to cross high way plus the un safe neighbourhood. We came basically on the trail of Lawrence of Arabia, we were lucky to stay at Retaj Hotel close to the harbor and old quarter that we could easily walk to it as much as we wanted. However it was mid June during Eid ul Adha, shops and visitors attractions were closed, the city was quiet, and the heat and humidity kept us indoors most of our three day visit. Still it was fascinating to be in the city at this time, we didn't see much of Yanbu to make a judgement but we were grateful to make it, as it was our jump off point onwards to Umluj as well. The Yanbu Airport, by the way, was very impressive, and I love the long avenue of fire trees out to the highway. Neat and green landscaping made a great impression for us first time visitors. All in all a memorable visit to this part of Saudi Arabia, before we final exit as expats to start our retirement.Guest review byHilton - 8.0

A drive from Jeddah to Al-Ula via Yanbu was excellent. Although was confused of the Speed Limits as many were not following it, | The landscape along the drive was phenominal. Al-Ula as a city was enjoyable with friends and family although it is recommended to visit the city during winters rather than during the summers. Hotels might be expensive so plan & book atleast 2 - 3 months in advance. UNSECO Sites were well maintained, explained and well within the traveling distance. Easy to access and the staff at the visitor centers were friendly and helpfule. They were patiently answering all my queries. Some of the restaurants mentioned on Al-Ula website are a must try although they might be expensive. The ambience and staff performance was excellent. A two bedroom apartment with two bathrooms, a lounge and a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment is located in a nice new neighbourhood close to Al Rashid Mega Mall. The apartment had its own designated parking and was around 10 - 15 minutes drive to Masjid e Nabwi by car. The owner a was a polite gentlemen who took us through the apartment before handing over the keys to us. The apartment also had a massage chair and had everything that you may require including a stacked fridge, an iron and iron board, electric kettle, utensils, crockery and washing machine etc. A definite value for money for 4 - 5 people and highly recommended.Guest review byBilalasadSaudi Arabia - 8.0

I stayed 2nd time in this facility. Last time I gave overall rating 5. But this round my over all experience was good and I gave Rating 8 They improved a lot as compare to last time. Just wanted to add, if possible, to fix the location on booking.com. when I shared the location with the driver through booking.com it took us to another location and had to search again in google. and to also, if possible, to fix the name of the hotel in English. it's not matching the Arabic which was the reason of the confusion in the location. My favourite places in Al Madinah were Masjid Quba and Masjid Al-Qiblatayn, both very peaceful and spiritually uplifting. I enjoyed a variety of foods during my stay, including pizza, burgers, wraps, and biryani. The options were delicious and convenient. It was quite easy to move around Al Madinah as I mainly used Uber taxis, which were comfortable and reliable.
