The staff even made my coffee from the machine and was very accommodating, friendly and jumping to help. a wellness center is also included but sadly we didn't have time. Hoping to come back though. Interesting city, like any metropolis not for the faint-hearted, but full of hidden surprises, brilliant history and art museums, centrally placed monastery, lovely bookshop with top floor cafe, Old Town vibe and quite well placed for day trips to Transylvania hills and forests, Bram (Dracula) Castle and Therme Spa, one of finest mega spa swimming, fun and treatment centres in Europe. Lovely little cafe by Art Museum complex - Boutique du Pain - serving fresh power salads and good coffee. The hosts were extremely kind and responsive. They allowed our group to use all the amenities. I strongly recommend. We took advantage of the snow and made a snowman in the yard. lovely location and good communication to begin with, with the owner however when showing faults of the inside room they did not agree although there is proof. There is mould in bathroom and the smell is very overwhelming despite leaving the windows opened. I could not stay for more than the weekend with dust/dirt of the room honestly. Snagov is close to Bucharest so you can have a getaway easily. There's a lake you can visit but come prepared to meet mosquitos in the evening and bring a repellent product to protect yourself. It's easy to visit, I ate at Country Spa and have previously dined at Casa Vlasia as well - bit pricy but food is OK. Our visit was primarily to celebrate a friend's birthday, and we had 2 or 3 activities pre-planned so sightseeing was limited. However, what we saw of the city was lovely. Like any city, it has its less salubrious areas, but there is some great architecture and lovely gardens to see. Ubers are plentiful and cheap if you don't want to walk, but traffic is generally very heavy! The airport is not great at all, the staff are not friendly, and the available food is terrible. the food is so overpriced for an airport and does not look fresh. In the Duty Free, the staff are on their phone and do not want to help. The toilets are disgusting and covered in faeces or broken locks.
