From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by the friendly staff. Located in the forest, the resort itself is stunning, peaceful, with great facilities for children, and great views of the lake and surrounding area. Our accommodation, D1, was spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable and provided a great night's sleep. Overall, I cannot recommend Dome Largo resort highly enough. The peaceful location, the quality of the facilities and the friendly staff at the Reception and the staff in the children's play area all contributed to an unforgettable holiday experience. A little bit more of vegan food would have been appreciated as my daughter is vegan, but we managed. We had a good size room for the three of us and the beds were quite comfy. The balcony was also very nice. We used the inside swimming pool and it was really good. Since we travelled in September, there were not a lot of guests there and sometimes we were the only people in the pool. The restaurant served very tasty food and they did their best to accommodate my vegan daughter although there were no strictly vegan dishes. The service was excellent. Rooms are extremely spacious, beds comfortable. The restaurant "Malina i pokrzywa" was great - delicious food a la carte and very friendly and helpful staff - these ladies deserve extra credits. Better to kayak from Male Swornegacie as there is a river and inner lake more interesting than the big lake. In Male is also a great little beach, nice clean café, catamaran rental and more. Chojnice is a quaint little town with quite a few things to see: the 'Annunciation of Mary' Church, the Basilica of 'the Beheading of St. John the Baptist', the Człuchów Gate. which is one of the landmarks and houses the local historical museum and the Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Filomatów Chojnickich, which is one of the oldest high schools in Poland. Last, but not least, the Town Hall (Ratusz) is absolutely amazing!Guest review byHarald JEPoland
