Bodø isnt a common or popular tourist destination for most visitors to Norway but it has a lot to offer, from restaurants, beaches, nature hikes and excursions, northern lights, and of course not to forget Saltstraumen. On main road and close to an industrial area but no noise problems. Plenty of parking. Nice cold evening meal provided, and good breakfast including hot food. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Mainly a business hotel quite small. Large communal dining room area for general use, and bar available. Very reasonably priced. Beds and pillows good. Oct 21, 2023. Beautiful, scenic, waterfront cabins overlooking the fjord/sea. The Havbrukssenter and salmon pens are beautiful at night. Boats, harbor, lights across the fjord. Lots of photos. We loved our stay in Bodø although we didn’t see much of the city itself. We hiked up Keiservarden, went to the Pust Sauna with a dip in the freezing ocean, went on a moose safari at night and ended our trip with a visit to the Luftfahrtmuseum.Guest review bySaraSpain - 10.0

Mosjøen is a very cute place. Its located in a beautiful scenery, next to a fjord and mountains, the center is small with many old traditional wooden houses, get ready for cuteness overload. Brønnøysund is demanding about sea and boats. Its a beautiful nature. But city itself is little bit ruined, its dirty window glasses, its very low standart in restaurants and service.. Mosjøen is a nice old city in the middle of Norway, With a lot of history, back to when it was a trade center for Helgeland.
