- From US$399.99 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 373 reviewsWe had an unforgettable 10-day stay at this beautiful resort! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and taken care of. The staff truly made our experience exceptional – attentive, friendly, and always going above and beyond. The buffet offered a very wide selection, so there was always something to enjoy, with a few dishes that stood out as especially delicious. The themed nights, repeating weekly, added variety and ensured that we never felt like eating the same thing twice in a week. We want to give special thanks to Terow and Laila, who consistently provided outstanding service with such attention and kindness. Mamun and Rohit went the extra mile for us, even preparing special meals tailored to our wishes, which made our stay feel truly unique. Meeting Azee, who has been dedicated to the hotel for 26 years, was inspiring – his passion and commitment are remarkable. Shadhoon gave us an incredible insight into the underwater world and shared fascinating conversations, while Sumith helped us explore the full range of the resort’s offerings, crafted an amazing activities program, and made sure all our wishes were fulfilled. Over these 10 days, we grew very fond of everyone and saying goodbye was truly difficult. This trip will remain a very special memory for us, largely thanks to the warmth, professionalism, and heart of the entire team.Guest review byYlenia AuroraSwitzerland
- From US$1,505.79 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 569 reviewsThe stay at Sun Siyam Vilu Reef was wonderful! We had a deluxe bungalow that had direct access to the coral reef (entrance number 2 if I remember correctly) and it was by far the best place for diving on the island. The marine life here is abundant. Our room was cleaned twice a day and was spotlessly clean. Our host Boni was very friendly. We loved the food and special praise goes to chef Chaminda who prepared something extra gluten-free for me every breakfast and dinner (I have celiac disease) and brought me Sri Lankan specialties. The food was varied during dinner (it gets repetitive for me when you are here for more than a week), and for breakfast it is all the same. The pool was great - very clean and modern. Thanks to everyone who made our stay unforgettable: ladies Isabella, Juri and Asmita (our older son loved them so much), Lahifaan who was always available and who always made our little baby happy and of course Boni and Chaminda.Guest review byPatriciaCroatia
- From US$2,232.95 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 328 reviewsWe travel several times a year to different destinations, this is the first time I rate a 10 in Booking. The hotel was really above expectations. The food was very diversified and extremely good quality, plenty of variety, staff was amazing (the grill chef Eslam is extremely professional and very good). The ambassadors are also very nice and happy to help at any time with any request. The villa we stayed was amazing, with private pool, mini bar all inclusive, directly into the beach which was amazing. The staff cleans the rooms twice a day (which is very nice, but can happen that they appear at inconvenient moments) , keeping all the sand away from our room ! Manooj was the responsible guy for cleaning our room and he was very very good (10 out of 10!!). Thank you very much the amazing week!Guest review byGoncaloLuxembourg
- From US$1,271.05 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 112 reviewsThis island is one of the most beautiful places we've even been to. The marine life outside the villas is just stunning - make sure to explore the reef further on! Sharks, turtles and ray sightings were a daily occurence. We also got to see the dolphins up close several times which was such a treat! The staff was incredibly nice and attentive and the food was amazing everywhere we went. We loved the french Falhumaa restaurant the best. We went in July and were fortunate to only have one rainy day during our week-long stay. During the off-season, we felt like we had the resort to ourselves and would absolutely go again. Can't recommend enough!Guest review byKaterinaCzech Republic
- From US$238.61 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 397 reviewsAlthough there were a few small things that needed fixing or adjustment – for example, in our room, the bidet wasn’t working properly, and there was a water leak. I’m not sure if this was what caused the unpleasant smell in the bathroom, something like mold or dampness, but it was noticeable. However, aside from this maintenance issue, I had no other problems with the hotel. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the staff are absolutely wonderful, and the breakfast is exceptional. The location is stunning as well. Overall, I would definitely recommend Hotel Plumeria – it’s well worth a stay!Guest review byANDREFrance
- From US$368.08 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.7Good - What previous guests thought, 76 reviewsThe water villa was really an exceptional treat. It can feel a bit outdated in some aspects but it's part of the charm. I was on a half board package, so no buffet for lunch but breakfast and dinner were more than enough. Beware though, you have to go to all inclusive to have drinks other than water included (which makes sense and is totally normal, you get what you paid for and add on top if you want more).Guest review byNicolasFrance
- From US$347.41 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 44 reviewsGood sized room with ceiling fan & air conditioning, nice comfortable bed. Lovely pool area. Also a good sea front with tree shade & loungers. A beautiful beach "Bounty advert style" is within a 5 minutes walk. Delicious food with plenty of maldivian/asian dishes spiced to perfection. live music twice a week (Great Band). Exceptional value compared to island resorts.Guest review byStephenUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 24 reviewsThe food was superb a lot of thought went into ensuring that different food was available throughout our time at the resort. I particularly liked the evening where staff from each country represented at the resort produced a meal from their country. The staff at the resort were very inclusive, it made you feel like one big family.Guest review byIanUnited Kingdom

I enjoyed pretty much everything.
I enjoyed pretty much everything. It was a super place to go for a one week holiday. You're a captivated audience on such a small island but there was more than enough to keep you occupied for the week. The food was excellent, the staff extremely supportive and I think that RIU have a near perfect arrangement for the 'all inclusive' experience.Guest review byStuartUnited Kingdom - 10.0

If you are on a budget, using the local ferry's are a big save in regards to travel and make Island hopping do able. They are 3 time the length of time, at 1 tenth of the price of a speedboat. We still enjoyed sitting out front and watching the dolphins swim with the boat. The trip back was empty and we chatted to the crew. (30 min speedboat vs 1h30 Ferry) The Ferry goes ever 2 days so we did the Maafushi to Fulidhoo, slept 2 nights then got onto it again from Thinadhoo. Two beautiful Islands.Guest review bymorneSouth Africa - 10.0
Amazing resort I would highly recommend.
Amazing resort I would highly recommend. This was our second stay at Kandima and our experience exceeded the first. Good selection of meals provided throughout the day and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our shuttle bus driver Gasimm was very patient and informative on the ecosystem. Excellent facilities for children.Guest review byClarkeUnited Kingdom - 10.0
If you ever can go to Maldives, there is only one place:...
If you ever can go to Maldives, there is only one place: Madifushi Private Islands. It's a new heaven on earth, and the experience will blow you away. The activities, the SPA, the food, the staff, Sacha, the manager [Omar], the room service the views. I can't stop, honestly. Never been to a better place.Guest review byAllen O.United Kingdom - 10.0
Lovely island that can be walked around in 20-30 mins.
Lovely island that can be walked around in 20-30 mins. Great sandy beaches, beautiful crystal clear waters, plenty of sea life (fish, rays, turtles, reef sharks etc) that all can be observed from the beach or from your over-water bungalow. One side of the island looks out to open sea and the other side of the islands looks towards neighboring islands in the same atoll. The walk from the room to the reception area or the restaurant or the dive shop are all 5-10 mins (but some rooms are much closer to the facilities such as the beach bungalows). Our room was 501 which was one of the Pool Suites. There are 4 pool suites in total. Room 501 has access to the snorkeling reef and at low tide you can enjoy your own private swimming pool. The staff said that Room 501 was the best of the Pool Suites so ask for this room specifically. The restaurant has an amazing selection of food from many different cultures (Indian, Sri Lankan, Maldives, Japanese, Korean, western cuisine...) and always an abundance of fresh produce, fruits, salads. If you take up the All Inclusive dining package then all meals and drinks - even cocktails by the pool - are included. Also included the mini bar in your room however this is only restocked daily. The facilities are clean, the staff are friendly and always willing to help. The room was cleaned daily and the pool was cleaned every 2nd day. What I really appreciated was the pool cleaner asking me if I wanted to add chlorine to the pool. I opted to NOT add chlorine as the pool water flows over the infinity edge into the reef. Having the pool vacuumed every 2nd day was also not necessary but the staff were happy to assist and wanted to make sure you had a great stay. We visited Velifushi in April 2024 which was lovely weather around 32 Deg C. We had a few brief storms that lasted no more than 10 mins during the early hours of the morning but the daytimes were great weather. Highly recommend Velifushi to you.Guest review byPablo_123Australia - 10.0

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left they made us feel so welcome and so special. Everyone in the team just wanted to ensure that we had the best time. From the captain/boss Ahmed, to John the host, to Arbi and the waiters, the chef and through to all the guys on the boat. We got to know them all and felt like part of a family. I couldn’t recommend it enough and if we could afford to, we’d go back next week! If you want the bustle of a big resort, then maybe this is not for you, but if you want to be somewhere that celebrates the beauty of nature and all that the Maldives has to offer, with people who love to show that to you, then this is the place for you. We felt like we knew the whole team by the end, they were all so genuine and thoughtful and caring. We’ve seldom had such personal attentive service and we’ve stayed in many places around the world, and they made our 25th anniversary such a special evening. If you want beauty, nature, simplicity, comfort, good food, great service and fantastic adventures with amazing attention to detail then just book Thari Fushi. We miss you all!Guest review byAlexisUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I loved everything! It was amazing!
I loved everything! It was amazing! The people, the view, the quiet island, the snorkeling with sharks and rays… 😍 Just the food, sometimes a little expensive for a simple salad or pasta (but still very affordable), and the bed a little hard (but we still slept very well!).Guest review byMarineFrance - 8.0
You can have a good snorkeling and beach experience here.
You can have a good snorkeling and beach experience here. The islanders far outnumber the tourists. The island is generally quiet and clean but it does have a lot of modern infrastructure in a small area. We didn’t dive but there is a local dive shop. We also saw several live aboards anchored nearby so the diving must be good.Guest review byChristineCanada - 10.0

Beautiful resort connected to two islands with a 1 km wooden bridge on top of the sea. The water pool Villa was amazing and quiet. The sky at night had all the starts in view. The personnel of the hotel friendly and attentive, would say “hello” and “good morning” to everyone. There are golf buggies to take you from all the places of the islands you are (waiting time was 5 to 15 min max). They offered us bicycles to move around and the vegetation in the islands was lash and fantastic. The only thing I would suggest is more options of food items at the buffet, lunch/dinner. If I compare the buffet lunch/dinners at the Residence Zanzibar… it has a big difference.Guest review byElliGreece - 10.0
Perfect place for total relaxation.
Perfect place for total relaxation. Maybe a few more activities for the ‘oldies’ would be good. We loved the bingo and Kahootz but the party music wasn’t our style. Enjoyed the saxophone player and the Irish singer. During the day maybe trivia or games?Guest review byJulieanne
