Although my booking is not included dinner, I pay for each guest 5000yen for dinner buffet and the buffet is outstanding! Polite staff and a beautiful dining hall , most of the food is surprisingly delicious! Onsen area is super clean and enjoyable! After hot springs can buy a bottle of cold milk at the changing area and it is really soothing!! 8.30pm have a fireworks event, it makes the night perfect.Guest review byKAR SENGMalaysia

Very beautiful and quaint little town.
Very beautiful and quaint little town. Loved the hot foot and hand spas for the public. Views of the lake were amazing and the onsen with the cost of our room was worth it. Better to stay since it is much more beautiful than at Rusutsu Resort area and not that far to go snowboarding.Guest review byKenUnited States - 10.0
Lake Toya is a special Jewel of a retreat in Japan.
Lake Toya is a special Jewel of a retreat in Japan. It is well known but many people have never been as its slightly more difficult to get to then other Onsen. The natural beauty of the lake is breathtaking and well worth the visit, it is a small town by comparison so not so much for shopping/nightlife etc. Your going to sit and watch the sunset and soak for a long time in Onsen or tubs. Also many of the Onsen seem to be of very high quality so pick what fits budget/needs best and I bet you will have a spectacular time.Guest review byLeifUnited States - 8.0

We enjoyed the Ususzan Ropeway, Volcano Museum in town and driving around the countryside to Niseko, Otaru (great canal and Railway Museum), and the National Ainu Museum at Upupoy. Beautiful lake views and fireworks each night.Guest review byAnneAustralia
