- From US$245.96 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 2,818 reviewsWe loved our stay at Kiro and would have enjoyed a longer visit. The hotel is wonderful from a design point of view. The rooms are compact but extremely well appointed, well designed and super comfortable. The lobby includes a nice coffee bar and a small selection of custom designed items for sale (prints, totes, and the wonderful shampoo and soap provided in the rooms). The robes provided are dreamy soft and chic! The bar and dining area upstairs is fantastic, as is the kitchen area where it's possible to prepare and eat your own food. A couple of washing machines and tumble dryers are available on the top floor as well. The hotel is very well located for walking around Hiroshima's main attractions as well as lively shopping and dining venues. Would definitely recommend and also return for a second stay!Guest review byCathrineArgentina
- From US$270.52 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 3,141 reviewsThe first thing I realised when I entered the hotel was the smell, it was so nice and calming. The room was amazing. It was spacious, had a huge bed and even a window seating area. The view was decent from higher floor too. On the top floor, there was even a spa area, which was free for all guests! It has a sauna, an indoor and an outdoor bath. There were also vending machines and laundry machines on that floor. Of course, the room also had a toilet and bath. Bus and tram stops are just a few minutes away. The price was very affordable too, especially compared to other big cities.Guest review byKaiLuxembourg

The city was a great inspiration.
The city was a great inspiration. With not that many tourists around, Hiroshima stays authentic. We loved our day passes for public transport as they came in handy and even included a ferry to Miyajima island!Guest review byOlaPoland - 10.0

It does get busy during the day when lots of tourists come over by ferry for the day however we hired bikes and managed to stay clear of the crowds for the most part. The Island becomes very quite in the evening which is perfect, I would advise that you book a restaurant as lots of the island closes around 5-6pm so anything that is open later gets booked up. We were very lucky to just get the last free table on two occasions. Also the deer wandering around especially in the dusk and evening before al the ferries drop off are enchanting, however they are not like the deer in Nara park and there are lots of signs that remind people not to feed or bother the deer, not everyone follows these rules which is disappointing.Guest review byDonnaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Onomichi is a picturesque and walkable city with lots of charm. You can stroll the vintage shotegai, visit the art museum, enjoy a snack at Onomichi U2, take a temple walk, ride the ropeway, and of course, biking the Shimanami Kaido. The people are friendly and the food and shopping are great.Guest review byLindsayUnited States - 10.0

It’s a little off the main tourist route, which is why it’s worth a visit. In November the weather was great. It was easy to visit the castle and grounds and a bus trip to Tomonoura was great way to spend the day. A little fishing port famous for being in films and again not too busy. In Fukuyama a visit to the Clock and auto museum is like entering an Aladdin’s cave of wonders. It’s full of the past and not just cars and clocks. Lots of small owner run restaurants as well.Guest review byCostelloeCanada - 10.0
The owner/ front desk was super nice and friendly.
The owner/ front desk was super nice and friendly. He went above and beyond. Gave me the best room with lower price because I was solo and room is for 2. Yet the room and all areas in hotel were very clean and smelled good. It’s also across from train station and easy to commute everywhere. I will definitely stay again.Guest review bySemiraUnited States - 8.0

Mihara is a pocket of suburban quiet within the larger area of Hiroshima. Within easy ferry access of Okunoshima (Rabbit) Island, the Mihara area provides quiet, budget-friendly accommodations, and local specials. Mihara station also acts as a stop for the Shinkansen, so it is a great place to act as a base town during your travel. Please visit Mihara!Guest review byEmmaUnited States - 10.0

Kure is a great place for travelers who have an interest in Naval history, owing to Kure's long history as a naval port and the birthplace of famous ships like the battleship Yamato and aircraft carrier Akagi. The following restaurants were recommended to me so I also recommend them to future travelers! - Tone-honten (Curry Rice) - Dosanko Kure Hondori (Ramen) - Morisu (Ramen) - Jiyuken (Omurice) There is a rental bicycle service offered by JR by the station for 500円 where the bikes can be rented starting from 0800hrs and returned by 2000hrs.Guest review byRyanSingapore - 10.0
The city is clean, tidy and well laid out.
The city is clean, tidy and well laid out. There is a lot to see and places to visit. It was easy to get around and everyone we came in contact with was helpful and kind. The Peace Park and the Museum are a must to visit. The whole area has a great sense of calmness. Miyajuma Island is well worth a visit. It's beautiful and only took 45 to get there on a ferry from the Peace Park. Lots of places to eat and soak up the surroundings.Guest review byPaulUnited Kingdom - 10.0
It was my second trip to Miyajima island.
It was my second trip to Miyajima island. The first time I only travelled their with my wife and we did not stay in any accommodation. I left back on the ferry same day feeling that I had to eventually return. I was able to do that and I loved every moment. It's an island I would consider going back too again and staying over again. The island offers so much. For those that want heritage and history, tick. For those that want a close encounter with a deers, tick. For those who love calm beaches or mountains, tick. For those that want experiences with friendly locals, tick. Those wanting to do shopping, especially souveniours, tick. For those who want physical activity, the walking trails up the mountain are a definite tick. I could go on, but, for so many reasons I love and would highly recommend travel to Miyajima.Guest review byAdamAustralia - 10.0

Because I got in late from doing the big bike ride over from Imabari, I was left with little time or energy to explore Onomichi. However, I did do some of the temple tour in the morning and it was excellent. I recommend taking the "ropeway" (I'd call it a cable car) to the hilltop and work your way down. I'd love to come back and explore more of this interesting little town.Guest review byVaytwTaiwan
