Loved how interesting Aosta was - Roman Ruins and a lot of history plus great bar & restaurant choices & friendly locals. Very busy each evening when everyone takes an aperitivo & a stroll & easy to get to by coach from Turin. Easy access to other towns & ski resorts in the Aosta Valley too. Also very reasonably priced compared to England.Guest review byClaireUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Our weather for the two days of skiing was rough and warmer temperatures made the ski out challenging for tired skiers. We didn't get to Versante Checrouit or Val Veny so we can't rate them. The town is fabulous with great restaurants and shops. Especially Aria with its superb food and service. There is a great variety of intermediate and beginner trails but not a lot of expert terrain.Guest review byJasonCanada - 10.0

Nice little village, far from the crowds in Courmajeur and other villages in Val Daosta. It has a groceries store, a bakery and some restaurants/cafe. Definitely less touristy and more authentic. Ideal place to visit the thermal baths, which are fantastic and well worth each euro of the entrance ticket!Guest review byadripagBrazil - 10.0
Small, nice town with numerous restaurants.
Small, nice town with numerous restaurants. Several small markets, one big supermarket open 7 days a week (and not closing for lunch break). The town has an easy autostrada access and is close to Aosta, the largest city in the region. Overall, Saint Vincent gives “small town feel” with having all amenities easily accessible. Good starting point for a day or half day trips to Mont Blanc, Matterhorn (Cervino in Italian) and St. Bernard Pass.Guest review byMiro123456United States - 10.0

Really liked the mountain area and towns around the Gran Paradiso park. Good base to visit the park, run over to the Hellbronner and Aguille du Midi lifts, visit Aosta. Could have easily spent a whole week in the area doing more hiking (the trail around Lillaz Falls was a great experience during our spring visit) and visiting the small towns in the area. We did see a chamois, but did not spot any ibex during our visit.Guest review byJohnUnited States - 10.0
Such a beautiful town!
Such a beautiful town! I felt like I had a much better spot than the other little towns nearby just because of the ease of access to the Matterhorn hiking area. I just walked out my door and it was right there, no driving necessary. Also, it was extremely convenient to come down off the mountain and just grab some dinner.Guest review byJulieUnited States - 8.0

It could have more restaurants and services, but it is good as well as it is. Remember to book restaurant and taxi in advance and You should be ok. No huge party or disco experience, but I came to ski - so it was ok.Guest review byTapioFinland - 8.0

Only stayed one night then continued to Cervinia. Great location to explore Aosta valley and great base for skiing trips. Not much to do in winter but plenty of hikes in summer, The place is surrounded by mountains!Guest review byJanUnited Kingdom - 8.0
La Thuile is a beautiful, quiet and family-friendly village.
La Thuile is a beautiful, quiet and family-friendly village. I visited with my girlfriend, so I didn't go looking for too many Après-Skis. Everything is relatively close and there are some good restaurants. Some of the ski lifts could have been more up-to-date, but nothing negative.Guest review byFranciscoPortugal - 8.0

Picturesque alpine hamlet with plenty of trails into the mountains for all abilities. It is clearly popular with people walking the Via Francigena as well as bikers and drivers. It works as a longer stopover only if you are into walking and exploring the area. A day stopover was enough for us as it is only a small place, albeit, pretty.Guest review byAntonioUnited Kingdom
