- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 427 reviewsThe hotel is in a beautiful location under the mountains of Monti Sibillini, with a stunning pool area and large, comfy rooms. Maurizio the owner of the place is really helpful, cheerful and good company, as is Moussa, his main helper. The breakfast is very good, with excellent locally made cakes, seasonal fruit from the hotel grounds, yogurt, and Maurizio will make other things to order if you so desire. This place is also very well located for exploring the Monti Sibillini area and all of its fantastic natural beauty and local life. I will stay here again.Guest review byGeorgeItaly
- From US$110.85 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 162 reviewsThe campsite is set in a gorgeous location, with an especially amazing view from the infinity pool and restaurant area. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. It was comfortable and clean and doesn't feel 'crammed in' with other visitors/campers, as other campsites can do. The facilities and available activities are great, delicious food and the staff very helpful. We ended up staying two nights instead of one. We also did a loop walk (2hrs) from the campsite which was well sign posted.Guest review byIslaUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 119 reviewsThe room was clean and comfortable and our hosts were outstandingly nice. We were even able to rent bicycles for a very reasonable price and Walter picked us up from the trail when we became tired. But what really stands out in this place is its location - a tiny, quiet village surrounded by green hills. Even by the high standards of small Umbrian villages we found this place to be uniquely peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended!Guest review byNadavIsrael
- From US$129.03 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 214 reviewsWe stopped for just one night on our way to the lentil fields in Castelluccio and booked last minute—what a pleasant surprise! This place is truly a hidden gem. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, offering helpful tips on local food and routes. Breakfast was a highlight: not your typical buffet, but a served spread with fresh, local products brought right to the table. The room was clean, authentic. Wish we had stayed longer!Guest review byMariaRussia

Norcia is a town that continues to undergo extensive renovations after a significant earthquake a number of years ago. Each time we return, more and more has been rebuilt and more shops have come back to life. We can't wait to see the main church when it re-opens.Guest review byRichardItaly - 10.0

Sarnano is wonderful town full of historic buildings and shops and restaurants. The square is fantastic it has loads of seats to watch the world go ! On a Thursday the town is taken over by a market which sells anything you could possibly want from clothes to fresh fruit and veg and hot food trucks as well. If you've never been you are missing a treat !!Guest review byAnthonyUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The lake is the core of the place but also some hikes.
The lake is the core of the place but also some hikes. Several activities around the lake: - An adventure park with long (160m) zip lines over the lake. Very professional guides. - Canoe/kayak/paddle surf rental very close to the camping site. - E-bike rental (not tried) - The Lame Rosse hike is a must (easy one, on the shade most of the path) Several restaurants but not many food shops in San Lorenzo al Lago nor FIastra. 100% recommended is the Rifugio di Tribbio. Very good views, food and service. Everything is packed in July weekends though but weekdays are perfect!Guest review bydavidSpain - 8.0
This was just an overnight trip.
This was just an overnight trip. Norcia is still recovering from the earthquake. There is a lot of building/fixing going on in the old city center. To balance that, the people were truly gracious! And the food is delicious! I would have liked to have stayed at least one more full day to explore.Guest review byBrionyUnited States - 10.0

We were based right in the Piazza in the centre of town and the place is stunning. Everything you could want is right there bars restaurants and shops. There's a bank , Post Office , Pharmacy and so much more. Loads to do there I wish we had longer to look around tbh. It has 5 waterfalls very close by National parks and Mountains surrounding you. If you are in the area you should come and visit Sarnano.Guest review byAnthonyUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Norcia still hasn’t recovered from the earthquakes. The main square must have been lovely, but is still full of builders. We were there for one night in mid-September and the whole place was a bit dead.Guest review byAnnetteUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Having visited Sarnano many times there was nothing new for us. It is a charming medieval town in a stunning location. There is a handful of decent reasonably priced restaurants. In 15/20 mins you can be at the top of the mountain (by car) and at a lakeside hamlet. Thursday is market day. Free parking in many areas of the town.Guest review byManinasuiUnited Kingdom
