We went to Sicily for 8 days over Christmas and this was by far the highlight. Floresta is a small village located at 1300m in the Nebrodi mountains, and our room had a very nice view of it. The owner also owns a small shop and restaurant downstairs and we had dinner there too. The food was locally produced, tasted amazing and felt so homemade. The owner was also such a friendly gentleman. The room itself was nice too, very clean and featured a large bathroom.

this was one of our favorite stays in Sicily! the location is gorgeous and was great for us, close to the wineries. the staff at the hotel were helpful and kind, specially our waiter during dinner! the dinner was amazing too, maybe one of the best we’ve had and all local produce. the hotel rooms seemed recently updated, where the rest of the hotel had that charming mountain vibe. highly recommend staying here, we’d 100% come back here and stay longer!

I would recommend visit L’uliveto without any hesitation - a warm welcome and such a hospitality that is a rarely found. Really good food and everything one need for a nice stay. I would definitely return here once I am in Sicily again.

From the host’s greeting and impressively responsive communication to the million dollar views from every room, we couldn’t have asked for more. Every room was immaculate, well furnished and we needed for nothing. The beds were comfortable and sheets were supplied, along with plenty of towels. The kitchen has everything needed to cook at home, which we did on a few occasions. The “Deco” supermarket is a five minute walk away, too. A very welcomed little cake/biscuit and coffee supply on such a late arrival was amazing for us after a long day of travel. This property is a gem, one we fear we’ll not be able to visit again as it will become very popular… and rightly so.

    We recently had the pleasure of staying at Residence Miljunka and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the amicable staff who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their friendliness and willingness to assist with any request truly made us feel at home. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, providing a fresh and inviting atmosphere. The sand and pebble beach is across the road. The hotel staff provided us with beach umbrellas and chairs. The embankment on the beach near the hotel is destroyed, so to get to the beach you need to walk a little along the sea. The place is beautiful and quiet!

    Stunning rooms with a beautiful sea view. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful and it made us instantly relax. Matteus in particular went out of his way to be helpful whether on shift or not. The food was exceptional, we would particularly recommend the fish. The pool is clean and the bar is open so you can grab a drink during the day. There is also a shaded area where we went during the warmer parts of the day. The hotel is literally on the most beautiful and empty beach we would recommend wearing crocs as you get in as there’s no sand but the sea is stunningly clean.

    Amazing place! Even if I stayed for just one night, it remind me of my childhood at my village house. It is so nice to wake up and see nature, I was playing with the cats and dogs and fed some chickens 😍 also the host was really friendly. I told her that we didn't had time for the breakfast because we left really early and they made us the breakfast for take away in the evening! I appreciated so much. Thanks!

    Gianfranco was a very welcoming host with lots of helpful local recommendations. We loved our little flat with amazing views and great kitchen. Comfortable bed and great shower. Enjoyed hiking to Cascata del Catafurco and Rocche del Crasto.

    No taxi available from the train, so arrange a pickup from your lodging if possible. Beautiful art tile everywhere in town. On the home on the business in stair steps everywhere. Ceramics everywhere, color and beauty. Steep area surrounding a flat central town. Large scale land at right nearby,tunnels and bridges and all overlooking a beautiful sea.

    beautiful authentic area of Sicily, the villa is situated 10 minutes from the town, where you have access to the beaches, local shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. The locals are very kind and accommodating. If you are looking for authentic and local, this is definitely worth visiting. I will definitely be back again. The villa was magical, beautiful sea views, where you can watch the sun set every evening, the villa was clean, spacious and had all the essentials required to provide a wonderful, relaxing and magical stay. Antonio and his family were kind, always there to help, we were greeted with a hamper of local and delicious produce. Every bit of this stay was wonderful. Thank you :)

    A good location between Capo d'Orlando and Cefalu, and an excellent point to reach the Nebrodi mountains (1 hour) and then Etna (2 hours). Acquedolci in itself is nothing special, but it's calm and a strategic point for other explorations. Acquedolci has a long, rocky beach.

    Well cared for by the owners Ciccio and Luciano. I suggest you let them guide you to a special dinner, from a myriad of antipasti to a trio of pasta and don’t miss the grigliata mista. Breakfast is included and can easily keep you full to mid afternoon

    Cesaro is the village at the south entry of the Neibrodi Regional Natural Park. It is a good first stop. You will find hotels, cafe, bakeries and shops. The quick walk to the statue of the Lord of the Mountain is a must do for the due over the Etna volcano.

    The Agriturismo that we stayed at in Raitano was excellent. The owners were very welcoming and the food was exceptional! You need to stay for dinner and enjoy the wonderful Italian food that was served with some wine for you and your partner. What a wonderful stay!!!

    Loved all the ceramics everywhere: tiled walls, tiles in the streets, and artistically painted ceramics all over on display. The walk overlook with the fountain was an incredible place for sunset views over the ocean and hills. A charming little town indeed.

    Visited the place for 1 night while travelling with my motorbike. The place is really nice, rooms were nice, clean and well sized. The food at their restaurant, both dinner and breakfast were very satisfying. If visiting in winter, the outside heated pool spa is a must especially after a day riding motorbike like we did, although at an extra charge. Will definitely return another time.

    THIS is Sicilia. What wonderful people! A charming town based on the art of ceramics. Old school hospitality. Close to attractions, but without the tourist crowds. The sea, the mountains, the food, the art! A dreamy place.
