    Friendly staff - the shuttle driver was very polite and always in the good mood, thank you, sir, for brightening our day. Cleaning ladies were very nice, they did their job excellent. Everything was clean and neat. They offer free shuttle to the beach, were you get the sunbeads and umbrella for free. The pool was big, the water was clean. Smaller pool had warm water, children loved it. The breakfast was great - many food choices even for the people with allergies or food sensitivities. Big plus is a garage in the summer days - so the car is nicely cold when you have to drive it. Fitness is a bit small but you have outdoor one as well in the nearest park. They have animation for the children, a small playground is also near. The resort is well maintained, family friendly, we loved our stay here and we would like to come back again.

    We booked a camping spot for our tent and we could choose the spot in the booked area ourselves! The spots were spacious with a lot of shade and the restrooms and showers were extremely clean! There is a little train that brings you down to the beach but you can also easily walk there. It's a nice walk down the cliffs through a forest.

    The hotel was very nice and clean, the location is excellent and the staff was very helpful. The room was comfortable, very spacious. The roof restaurant gave a fantastic view to the sea. The meal was delicious. The swimming pools counterbalanced the beach which was disappointing.

    Grado is such an amazing location with its historical center, cathedral and breathtaking landscape; also the surroundings are absolutely wonderful: Gorizia is such a lovely city to visit and, if you have got the chance, go for her Transalpina Railways in the heart of Slovenia :)

    Udine is very beautiful and I wish I'd been there on a day other than Monday, when most things are closed. If Udine wants to cater for more tourists they should seriously consider whether it's possible to have some of the main attractions open every day.

    Our trip was in summer. As a town/area Tarvisio wasn't as quite as nice (in summer) as other places we stayed out in nearby Slovenia, but it was fine. I imagine the location would be perfect for ski-season.

    Gorizia is an undiscovered gem in Italy, main boulevard has wide, tree-lined sidewalks, many cafes and plazas, a fascinating castle and so many churches to check out. Food has been fantastic, people are helpful and friendly. The town is just the right size, not too big/not too small.

    If you want to hit multiple locations in Northern Italy and be near a populous that speaks English I think it will be hard to beat Pordenone. The city itself may not be a destination city but it's location to the Alps, Venice, Verona, Aviano AFB and other areas may prove beneficial.

    Nice city with history.

    Nice city with history. Unfortunately I was not lucky with B&B were I stayed and it was pouring rain with flood I tried 5 restaurants during the rain all of them said wére full at the end a hamburger restaurant accepted that I get in. I guess it’s just bad luck and it was only one night before my cruise.

    We really liked the quality of food in the restaurants and that of the products on sale in shops. The staff was really professional, quick, helpful and attentive everywhere. There are a lot of facilities to choose from ranging from entertainment, eating out and shops to programmes. Flamingo ristorante had the best cozze pasta and in Croce del Sud we also had great food and quick service.
