- From US$217.20 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,783 reviews+Fantastic, beautiful and lovely place very close to the lake myvatn and Skútustadagrig pseudo craters are next to it. +myvatn nature baths is very close to this place. + had lots of facilities like hot spa baths, games(billiards, darts) + Breakfast buffet was amazing and fantastic . This is probably one of the best Breakfast I had during my visit to Iceland. It almost had every types of food. +perfect place to see the Northern lights if it comes. While checking in , the receptionist asked us if we want a wake up call to our room if the Northern lights occur during the middle of the night. This was a fantastic option. +Petrol/diesel station is right next to this place. Very very useful to fuel up our cars for the next day's long trip. +toilets and bathroom are very clean.Guest review byAnandhakumar PalanisamyNorway
- From US$213.25 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,528 reviewsWe stayed in a Superior King room and loved it! The room is spacious, nicely decorated, with all the needed amenities. It’s located a bit further away from two main blocks, and thus is quieter. A great bed with a selection of pillows (my neck was complaining after several hotels offered only very think pillows), a sitting area and well heated bathrooms (we stayed in Jan, it was important :) Loved the restaurant of the property. The breakfast was very nice, the dinner selection coould be bigger / different, but the dishes we ended up trying were good.Guest review byAnnaPortugal

I go there many times per year, sometimes for errands, sometimes for days or weekends off. It's cute, it's cosy, wonderful cafeterias (and bakeries with great cafeterias), great restaurants, I love it. It's also very walkable if one is on vacation in town center.Guest review byHeimisdóttirIceland - 10.0
We visited all the famous sites
We visited all the famous sites The Thermal baths was great. A big area (and currently expanding). The restaurant there was very reasonably priced for Iceland. They made a great coffee. Food was good. Went to the geothermal site which was pretty amazing. We hiked up Hverfjall, theextinct volcano which was interesting. Went to Dentifoss and Selfoss which were very impressive We enjoyed our stay. Well worth a visitGuest review byLawsonAustralia - 8.0

Good place to stay away from main road and city for calm and cozy atmosphere. This place is surrounded by lush green tress and guest house is a perfect place to stay. Whale watching was awesome! An absolute must do when visiting Husavik. Dining options are good, but you might want to stay at a place with cooking facilities to improve options and affordability Definitely check out the local museum. There wasn't a single thing wrong. From the place, to the location, the host, avaliable conveniences while being isolated to relax. The pool outside brings everything to an 11. Enjoying the warmth with the cold outside while gazing at the stars, just what the doctor ordered.Guest review byGenNetherlands - 10.0

We didn't have much time to spend here, however, just spending a couple of days at the hotel and walking around the area would be wonderful. It's a beautiful hotel and area to sit around and relax or soak in the hot tub admiring the amazing views. The museum and some restaurants were closed when I went in March. There is definitely more to do in the summer months.Guest review byMarieUnited States - 8.0
My stay at the guesthouse was a bit of a mixed bag.
My stay at the guesthouse was a bit of a mixed bag. On the positive side, the self-check-in process was a breeze, and I was pleasantly surprised by the level of cleanliness and the spaciousness of my room. The facilities, including the WiFi and kitchen, were top-notch, and I had no complaints on that front. However, there were a few quirks that left me feeling a bit unsure. The surrounding farm was somewhat peculiar, but I must admit that I'm not exactly an expert on farming, and I didn't book this place for its agricultural charm. The absence of any human interaction with the host was a tad disconcerting. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, and a friendly welcome or some local insights would have been appreciated. One noteworthy detail was the water quality, which had a distinct sulfur smell. While this might be normal for the area, it would have been helpful if the host had mentioned it beforehand. In summary, the guesthouse had fantastic facilities, but the lack of host interaction and the peculiar farm surroundings left me with mixed feelings. Plus, a heads-up about the unique water scent would have been a considerate touch. However, all in all, good to very good value for the money.Guest review byThomas - 10.0

I was travelling for business, but was very pleasantly surprised by Akureyri - a very nice town with good facilities, great resturants and bars, and everything within walking distance. There seemed to be a lot of things to do for tourists, but I was working so couldn't take advantage of them this time. Very picturesque location at the bottom of a Fjord, much nicer location than Rekjavik. It's a bit of a pain to get to from Rekjavik area (flight by small plane, or 5 hr drive) but well worth it once you're there.Guest review byDouglasUnited Kingdom
