I stayed in a beautiful and super clean double room for single use with indoor bathroom.Fan and AC,comfortable mattress and pillow. Free pick up from the train station. The staff is really nice and helpful.They dropped me off at the bus station by check-out for a very fair price. Best accommodation in India. Highly recommended

The hotel was very nice and comfortable inside. It was at a lovely spot inside the fort walls with a great view of the city on the terrace. The staff were also extremely helpful and very attentive and went above and beyond expectations. I would definitely recommend this hotel if staying at Jaisalmer.

Amazing staff service, very friendly and thoughtful. They looked into all aspects; from preparing delicious and freshly cooked meals to setting up an extra mattress (family with 2 young kids) without us asking for it, so we could sleep better, it was very much appreciated. From front office, kitchen crew to housekeeping, we were well taken care off during our stay there. The hotel is clean, beautifully decorated and quiet, very good location. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing stay at Golden Villa. The views were stunning, the location was perfect, situated within the ancient walls of Jaisalmer, and the accommodation was beautiful and very clean. We spontaneously decided to stay for an extra night and we were given a very fair offer. Also Deepak was extremely genuine and helpful. He even made the effort to send us boats that we forgot at the accommodation without asking for anything in return. Altogether we had a fantastic stay and can highly recommend!!

Location: Superb location if you want to enjoy the entire view of the Jaisalmer Fort which looks stunning from the rooms. Also, the area around the hotel is quiet and I liked it as I needed some much needed peace with less crowd and less sound. Ambience and decor: Simply outstanding. Very neatly and thoughtfully designed rooms and hall area. I had booked a single room on booking.com but I got a room upgrade and I totally loved it! I had booked it for only one night at first, however, I ended up staying here for three nights. Cleanliness and rules: It is one of the very few hotels where cleanliness is maintained on the highest level and it is only possible because of certain easy-to-follow rules, for example, no outside food is allowed in the rooms, shoes are to be kept in the hall area and are not allowed inside the rooms, etc. Hospitality: The owner Mr. Naru needs a special mention as he made sure my stay at the hotel was comfortable and enjoyable. This kind and humble person engages really well with his guests and talks to them like a family member. I had a really nice conversation with him the first evening and he also offered me the dinner with his family and friends. By the way, the Laal Maas was really delicious and cooked to perfection. The staffs (Kapil, Aju, Rohit) were also quite nice and proactive. Final words: Secret House totally exceeded my expectations and if I visit Jaisalmer again, this is where I am going to stay, without a doubt.

Hotel Desert is everything you can dream of in a guest house. Ajit and his staff are so welcoming and lovely, and go out of their way to make sure you have a great time and are not wanting for anything. Plus, the rooftop is just about the tallest in Jaisalmer, with great food, great prices, and breathtaking views. Ajit and his staff are the standouts though, you won't find more kind, fun and hilarious people - if you're coming to Jaisalmer, you have to stay at Hotel Desert in the Fort.

Very nice location, 15 mins walking distance from the fort. Superb rooftop and wonderful staff. You can directly book a night in the desert. We slept in the desert under the stars and it was incredible. I highly recommend.

    The stay at Renuka Hotel was very nice. The hotel is located in a small street, near nice restaurants, the main market street and to the Haveli’s. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. And to finish the staff was amazing, good hearted people. Always keen for a chat and here to help in anyway they can. I recommend this place as it is a nice hotel to relax in and have a peaceful moment outside the city rage.

    It's more like a home and the staff are just like family! I caught a cold and they made me ginger tea whenever I needed it but even days later after I checked out they were still messaging me to check up to see if I was OK! My room had a shared bathroom which I was a bit concerned about but it's only with 1 other room and I never seen those people it was a non issue. It just made the plaxe feel bigger.

    To be honest I thought it would be a continuous desert beyond Jaisalmer before our visit there. Know that the dunes are formed at certain places only. But they are obviously out of the world. One has to visit it once.

    Jaisalmer is well-known and rightly thought to be romantic.

    Jaisalmer is well-known and rightly thought to be romantic. There are lots of tourists-- the entire entrance to the great fort is mobbed by tourists and tourist shops and hustlers. Despite that, the magic of this desert city survives. It is a gem, beautiful beyond imagining. I hope we can return someday. The opportunity for a desert adventure-- jeep through the rocky paths, camel ride, dinner cooked over an open fire, the silence of the desert at night-- was delightful. Our driver, Ukka, was skilled and fun to be with.

    If you want to visit proper desert with Sandunes then Sam is...

    If you want to visit proper desert with Sandunes then Sam is the place. Gets a bit crowded during winter season but it's ideal climate to visit Jaisalmer. You can do Jeep Safari for sunset and sunrise. Same with camel safari. Desert bike and parasailing also available. If you are traveling in winter grab some warm clothes as it gets really cold in the mornings and evenings especially due to the winds. there are tons of camps and most of them offer cultural program. There are also lots of restuarants around and personal vehicle can be really helpful.

    Jaisalmer is a dream city.

    Jaisalmer is a dream city. Full of charm and very friendly locals. Jaisalmer Fort is my favorite spot. The architecture, views from roof top and the food all are incredible. A must visit site in Rajasthan.
