A fascinating blend of cultures. This ancient city has incredible architecture going back centuries, beaches, amazing markets along with a huge number of things to see and do. It is expensive - we could not afford the top end restaurants and most of the exhibits charge entry. Drive out of the city for even more.... The best part of the hotel is the staff. they were all amazing, friendly, patient and courteous. ALL OF THEM. It is really well located - a quiet and pastoral spot, yet close to nearby towns and attractions. The only heads up I would give is that it is a kid friendly place. if you are traveling with your partner and want something totally quiet - I wouldn't recommend going during school holidays. Our family enjoyed our vacation in this apartment. It was a perfect Northern getaway. We walked to the Achziv beach several times. We also chose to travel to nearby attractions such as the local river tributaries, the Nahariya zoo, and Rosh Hanikra. It was the perfect location for a large family. The attractions near by were not crowded, and there were many local restaurants, and supermarkets within a 5 minute distance. At night, we barbequed dinner and ate on the large balcony, while listening to the sounds of the Achziv beach nearby. I would definitely suggest staying at this apartment. I wanted to actually comment @ our booking experience w/ booking.com We first loojed @ Sea View @ the beginning of the week but were not able to go @ that time. The room was charged for 650 Israeli sgejels. When we were able to actually booj a few days later the price went changed to 750 shejels oer night??? 1 night 2 days was perfect. Had a great wander. Did the Templar Tunnels, found the best hummus in the world. Did a cooking lesson with a local. Akko is just the most lovely old city. Full of art and food and magnificent views. Hard to believe how ancient it is. It is so well kept. The locals have much pride. It is so clean. It was such a highlight.Guest review byJustineAustralia
