From the beginning to the end we really enjoyed our stay. Not just the people there are great but the whole island is just amazing. Make sure to do a snorkeling island hopping tour or take the SUB to explore the amazing under water world.

Thank you for the stay in Royal Ocean View. The view from the Pool and restaurant is perfect. We enjoyed a stay of 10 days. Very nice and helpful staff and big thanks for everybody! Rooms are clean, there is hot water. Quite quiet location in overall. You can rent a motorbike via hotel and it's mandatory due to the remote location.

Good location, scooter rental for a fair price. The nasi goreng for breakfast was very very good. Nice helpfully staff that are willing to help you with booking the ferry. We had a really good stay on Karimunjawa because of this. Clean up your room when you want them to and give you a new towl when you need one even of it's 22pm.

It is a very cute small cottage located right at the sea. It has a bedroom, living room, bathroom and balcony. Bed was comfy, cottage was authentic. Very nice breakfast with variety of food. Host was very helpful, gave us some tips where to go and what to do, he also helped with boat tickets and where to find the office. You can rent a scooter for a fee and kayak- this is for free. Hotel was very quiet.

Al Mare feels like a little oasis from the moment you arrive. The deck is perfect for snorkeling, kayaking, or just relaxing. The staff are super friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The room was comfy and well equipped, with a quiet, effective AC. The shared deck has plenty of spots to either meet people or chill in private. Everything was clean, cozy and the bed was seriously comfortable.

    I wondered why this was the accommodation where we had the best time during our 2 months in Indonesia. We stayed in nicer hotels with more extras and fixed wifi. But the care, the heartfelt selflessness, the caring, we didn't feel anywhere else. The room is spacious, clean. The breakfast is generous. We cannot thank the owners, Devi and Fiti, enough for their hospitality. If we come to Karimunjawa again, we will only stay here.

    Everything was just amazing. Whole place, location (nearby beautiful beaches and also city center with restaurants, fish market, massage, etc.). Besides cottage has a beautiful seaview, great bathroom and comfortable bed. Everything was super clean. Moreover the owners were super helpful and thanks to them the stay on the Karimunjawa overwhelmed our expectations..

    Great Island, Very Beautiful.

    Great Island, Very Beautiful. Nice and quiet, overall very clean (by Indonesian Island standards) and not overcrowded. Quite time consuming to get to which is why it's quiet. Also takes a bit of exploring on the island to find the best beaches and hidden away spots, which makes it even better! Good Diving and Snorkelling at the outer islands. Friendly locals and nice places to stay. If you have the time I would highly recommend a visit to this island, you won't be disappointed, but allow time to go exploring as the best parts of this island aren't in the main town! Also, you must go on a boat trip to the surrounding islands to truly appreciate the area.

    It is an authentic Indonesian experience with some beautiful beaches and great snorkeling and island trips. It is just on the brink of exploding into a major tourism destination so check it out before it gets too busy. The opposite of Bali- still the real Indonesia and a National Park

    There's not an awful lot to do, but that's the pleasure of the place, sadly you are charged to go on the beach- who owns the beach? not sure if this is legit. and sadly people leave their litter everywhere too.
