- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 222 reviews10 out of 10! This accommodation exceeded all our expectations. Villa Carmen has an amazing view over the sea and is lovely situated between lots of flowers and plants with cosy and private terraces all around. The pool is very nice and relaxing and the villa is situated in a nice calm and peaceful area right in front of the beach and on 5 min walking distance from two small villages with lots of restaurants and bars. Mlini with it's small harbour is absolutely beautiful. Also it is just a boat trip or local bus ride away from Dubrovnik Old Town (15 min) and buses go regurlarly and are really well organized. Dubrovnik is a very beautiful city. On top of that there is Doris (the owner) who is a fantastic hostess and always welcomes you with her lovely smile and is always willing to help with everything. Bonus for us was that there was a breakfast buffet where you could choose yourself what you would like to eat with something special from Doris' kitchen everyday. Try the homemade marmelade made from the grapes of their own terrace and the tuna pate! We would love to stay here again! Erik and StephanieGuest review byStephanie & ErikNetherlands
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 326 reviewsExactly as described. We had a standard room as booked (balcony rooms were already booked). No issues at all, the room was clean and comfortable and the shower was really powerful. There are so many nice areas to sit and relax around the property, we didn’t miss having our own outdoor space. We loved the honesty bar and enjoyed chatting to fellow guests over a glass of wine. Kristina and Dean (owners) were the perfect hosts. Dean picked us up (and dropped us off) from the airport and Kristina helped us arrange our day out in Montenegro as well as giving lots of advice on getting to and from Dubrovnik. The location was perfect, 8 minute walk to the port and a bit longer back as it’s up hill. There is a regular bus but we mostly walked up as it wasn’t too far and a good way of burning off lunch or dinner. The nearest restaurant (2 min walk) called By The Way was simple but good food at a great price. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. If we go back to Cavtat, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else!Guest review byJayneUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 29 reviewsReally lovely apartments, very spacious and clean. Perfect for travelling with children or in a group. The facilities were great, everything you needed including a washing machine. It’s well located for the centre of Cavtat as it’s only an 8 min walk down to the front via the steps or the road. The pool is a fabulous addition and harder to come by that close to the centre. The hosts were really welcoming and very helpful. Would stay here again!Guest review byTrixieUnited Kingdom
- From US$52.78 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 526 reviewsVery clean and nice room with big balcony, good air-conditioning, kitchen to use if needed near the room. Short walk to Cavtat center and various beaches. Very friendly, helpful and nice owners who were willing to solve any problem there might be. I highly recommend this place to stay during your vacation. It is close to the airport and half an hour busdrive to Dubrovnik. If I come back, I'll choose this accomodation again.Guest review byKatariinaFinland
- From US$186.51 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 445 reviewsMy family and I stayed at Apartments Villa Lukas on a very hot july day before an evening flight from Dubrovnik Airport. We received a warm welcome. Situated a few minutes walk from Cavtat marina, the building is very bright and has a view of the sea (at least from room 8). Every aspect of these apartments has been set up to enhance the experience for their customers. We were very impressed. Highly recommended.Guest review byL.United States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 43 reviewsFirts of all lovely hosts ❤️ Everything was perfect, apartment very clean, very cozy and was everything what needed. And beautiful view from balcony :) close to bus stop (bus 10 to Dubrovnik departs every 30min) and shops, but be careful - lots of stairs and very steep, but whole area is uphill. We definitely recommend this apartment!Guest review byKingaPoland

We used Mlini for a night before flying out of Dubrovnik Airport. We started our Croatia holiday in Split, then did a Bike and Boat through the islands, ending up in Dubrovnik. Seeing how far Dubrovnik is from the airport, I sought closer accommodations, and it was a quick 10 minutes in the early morning when our driver picked us up at 5:40 a.m. After being there, for one day, I wish I could have spent several days there just relaxing!Guest review byBarbaraUnited States - 10.0

Friendly, helpful, and genuine owner, who was very kind and accommodating. Fresh figs on the table! We highly recommend this property for anyone who needs a walk-to lodging from the airport. There is even a diner 2 blocks away.Guest review byFranklinNicaragua - 10.0

The hosts where wonderful people, very friendly and made you feel right at home. The accommodation was very handy for closeness to the airport. Only a short stay but there was shops and restaurants nearby and you weren't far from the main road for easy access to wherever you were planning to go to.Guest review byyea - 10.0
What a lovely place!
What a lovely place! Sitting on the promenade by the water and watching the boats go in and out was a holiday all on its own. Excellent places to eat and friendly staff at them. The Shell Museum was fascinating. The lady in charge told us about it and it is clear that she is a heroine who has devoted all her time to making sure it will succeed. I hope she gets a lot of support from local councillors and businesses. Saint Nicolas Church was beautiful and the four paintings around the altar were obviously by a highly-skilled painter. I wished there had been postcards of them to send to my family! The Racic Mausoleum was amazing and gave a beautiful view of the town. The only problem for some people would be the gradients: it is fun for young fit people to climb 50+ stairs to their destination, but not for us old people.Guest review byHilaryUnited Kingdom - 10.0

There was a lot to do in the area, whether a person wanted to shop at a shopping mall, or smaller souvenir shops. The downtown Dubrovnik area was a short ride away, which offered great views and history of Old Town where a person could spend several days at all the shops, restaurants, nightclubs, and even take a cooking class - which we did. There were plenty of gellato shops on every street. I highly recommend the Local Cooking Class where we learned how to make bread, cook mussels, make macaroni, then candied almonds for a sweet treat. Then we enjoyed our meal together - it was wonderful.Guest review byTeresaUnited States - 6.0
Room was clean.
Room was clean. Website says has restaurant with a la cart menu…. since it was Sunday and we were the only guests, manager offered to cook spaghetti which I don’t eat…and referred us to a pizza place, which turned out to be good . Breakfast was personally cooked for us since we were the only guests. Most stores nearby were closed because it was Sunday. Location to airport was good. Would recommend ONLY as an airport hotel.Guest review byIrmaUnited States - 10.0

In the beautiful Konavle valley, not far from Dubrovnik, Čilipi has a small but interesting ethnographic museum across the square from St. Nicholas church. Try to time your stay to see the folk dancing. A short drive away you will find the Sokol Grad fortress and a restored Rector's residence. Be sure to visit the amazing Konavoski Dvor restaurant.Guest review byOperaSwainCroatia
