We had fabulous 4 nights stay. We arrived early in the morning before check in hours, and we get the room earlier, which was very nice from the staff, they were always very friendly, ready to help. Room was very clean, nicely equipped. Pool areas were really nice, with comfy sun-beds. Location is quiet, but not so far from bigger cities in case you like to party. Breakfast offer is big, with some modifications every day.

The propery is very beautiful and spacious, the pool was very clean. Our room was also clean and comfortable and there is also an outdoor space/balcony for the rooms. I also recommend the food at the property - it's home made and very tasty, I especially enjoyed the greek salad (the cheese was delicious) and the pizza, which had a crispy crust. The best part of our experience were the owners who were not only friendly but also very helpful as we had a personal problem and they helped us more than once, and were just truly good people!

    The location is perfect, in the heart of Lefkada town, only footsteps from all local amenities, wonderful views of the sea and the harbour from both sides.. All the people working there are so polite and friendly, starting from the receptionists, the poolbar girl, the cleaning lady from the first floor was so nice and helpful. The room was comfortable, with big balcony. Only the toilet is a bit tiny. The pool is beautiful, clean and warm water, but it needs a little touch in the area around it, some new tables maybe.

    The property is in very good place. We have arrived around 8pm and Sevina , girl on reception hand over a key and give us info with her phone number. An other girl Kristina, girl on reception was very helpful for any info we need it during our stay in Lefkada. Breakfast was really good. Location is very good, very good beach near , restaurants, shops, bakery. For sure if I come back to Lefkada it will be this place again. Rooms has been daily cleaned and you are getting clean towels and beddings every day.

    This is a beautiful family run hotel right on the beach and perfect for gorgeous sunrises. The friendly lovely staff maintain the facilities and gardens to a high standard. The hotel is very peaceful while being close to all of the amenities of Lygia. I’ve stayed in Lefkada 5 times previously and this was by far the best place. I can’t wait to come back again!

    Really gorgeous, quite substantial town with lots of very nice shops and restaurants. There is a beach just out of town which I didn’t visit so can’t comment on that. We went on the Odysseus boat trip which was excellent. This is a great place if you like boats. A hire car is needed if you want to get to the excellent beaches to the west and south. Driving on the roads is not too difficult but ask for advice from hire car people. We enjoyed eating at Margarita & Nissi’s

    Next to the beach, there is a wide pedestrian promenade with bars and restaurants. The harbor area is very beautiful. The atmosphere is pleasant, although in the evening it can get quite crowded. There are many shops with a wide variety of products, so you can find almost everything you need. The beach is pebbly, so it’s not possible to walk barefoot, but once you get into the water the seabed is covered with fine sand. Prices are reasonable — for example, two sunbeds with an umbrella cost €10.

There are enough eating establishments to have varied experiences during a stay. The shingle beaches are not the organised type: No shade; sun beds only available from individual accommodations; no banana boats or pedalos, and steep, sharp, stony entrances into the sea. If that all sounds negative - best choose elsewhere!

    Beautiful little village with lots of shops and restaurants. There are several ferries you can take for day trips around Lefkada especially to Skorpios Island. Be aware high season brings in tons of tourists which makes parking a bit of a challenge. Spend at least 3-4 days to get a feel for the area.

    Authentic village, really brought home traditional Greece. Didn't like beach, very narrow, sand always damp due to tides and we noticed quite a few cats pooping and burying their business on the beach so put us off sunbathing there. Milos beach, although quite a walk over the hill, was our favourite and really can't be missed, beautiful sunsets (we were here several times). Great little restaurants in the village, didn't have a bad meal anywhere and we tried alot of places. People friendly.

    Friendly and a bit away from the bustle of Lefkada town but very convenient to get into Lefkada in about 10 minutes by car. A couple of local food stores and various other essential shops including pharmacy in Lygia but need Lefkada for the bigger supermarkets and for true shopping experience if/when you need that. Lygia has a lovely little fishing port that is walkable with good eating facilities. The better and bigger beaches need a car to get to, but Lygia beach is very swimmable, although a little close to the road and so there will be some traffic noise. We love Lygia.

    The village is quiet and not overrun with crowds of vacationers, but at the same time it is located near the island's capital, Lefkada, with its shops, gas stations, and port. There is no better place to explore Lefkada.

    A perfect place for a quiet few days on the beach. The bonus is fabulous restaurants and a supermarket and bakery for daily supplies. Best if you have a car but do-able by taxi. Best restaurant was Taverna Zolithros.

    Our favorite beach was Avali because it was very peaceful and uncrowded. We ate at Panoramic View almost every day, where the food is delicious, and they serve the best homemade lemonade we've ever had and the baklava is a dream, even better than in Turkey!! It's much simpler to slip through and reach the beach with a scooter or an ATV...so I think that next year we will rent one:)

    Lovely view from a big outdoor seating area (room 1) in quiet placement where you need a car to get around. Love the nearest beach with a nice cafe. Both tavernas in the village of Athani good value for money, fresh and well tasing food, even though simple places. Very charming and authentic. Helpful hosts.
