- From US$184.02 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 84 reviewsWe came with 3 kids to go skiing at 3-5 Pigadia and had a truly magical stay here in the snow. The location is beautiful, we enjoyed exploring in the forest and saw deer and snow rabbits as well as many varied animal prints. Kids had snowball fights in the big treehouse and played with the dogs and cats. The chalet is warm and very comfortable. The salon/restaurant is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy coffee or the excellent food. The family are welcoming and very helpful with all our queries. Amazing value. And the local skiing instructors recommended by the hotel were also brilliant- an excellent location for learning to ski.Guest review byKaterinaUnited Kingdom
- From US$63.34 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 249 reviewsRooms very clean, comfortable and warm. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were lovely with home made produce and well worth the extra. The guest house is very well placed for the tavernas and cafes in the centre of the village and for the archaeological sites of Vergina. It is quiet with views over the rooftops to the surrounding mountains.Guest review byLesleyGreece

Veria is a wonderful little town, full of history, great old historic district and beautiful authentic villages around it. It is a center of aromanian/vlach culture and well worth the trip. Food is great and prices are reasonable. Vergina tombs within cca 12 km - wonderful archeological site and new museum showing the splendour if ancient macedonian civilization, the world of Alexander the Great and his father PhilipII.Guest review byAnca MihaelaAustria - 10.0

We were unpleasantly surprised by the incresed entrance fees for the historic sites since 01 Apr. The price went up from 12 to 20 euros for an adult. That is too much for the things you can see, especially when this price applies to all sites through Greece.Guest review byDimitarBulgaria - 10.0

This is a delightful mountain village with an excellent restaurant right down the cobbled road. There were other places to eat or have coffee. I was able to park on the street. My room had two big windows that allowed the crisp mountain air in. The owners were very kind. I would love to go back and stay a week.Guest review byIrisUnited States - 10.0

Metamorfosi is in fact a holiday city and due to the fact that most of the properties are used in holidays, location is green, quiet and idyllic. We saw stunning sunrises and have had some of the best traditional meals ever.Guest review bygabrielacristianRomania - 10.0

About everywhere in the city, many Byzantine churches, The Byzantine museum. The vue to the plaine from the Elias square, Café Elias had a nice filter coffee, the older buildings in tht neighbiurhood. I had lunch in several restaurants in town : Beluga on Elias square, 14 and Ston Pappou, Ellesis,2 were classy ones, a little bit more expensive but there are some others like the Roma pizza restaurant, on Mitropoleos street15, see photo in my revue, on the main street from the Clock Tower square, nearby the hotel Kokino Spiti in the old Juïsh quarter, also the nice restaurant opposite Stasou Mygdala on the corner of Mitropoleos and Elefterias street, that one is a real treat for small dishes, mesedes called. Veria is very easy to get arround. I do not know what I would avoid on my next visit to Veria.Guest review byWillyBelgium - 10.0

The Royal Tombs and the Polycentric Museum are on one €15 ticket but must be used in a single day. The Palace and amphitheater is free. They are about a 2k walk from the Royal Tomb, some along a dirt road. You’ll probably need to ask as you go as there’s few signposts, but well worth the effort. The Royal Tombs are insitu inside a small hill, and have a very good, and atmospheric presentation of artifacts and the tombs. Also drive to the church of Saint Demetrius. Stunning art work. Have a read about the history and artwork before you go into the church. Entry is down the lane beside the cemetery and church and through a small door. Photo of the Palace.Guest review byFloating the PlanetAustralia - 10.0
A lot to see, its a small village with good food and people.
A lot to see, its a small village with good food and people. I enjoy my stay, They are very welcoming. The only think that I would like is for the village to take better care of the strays. If you care for dogs and cats bring some food for the stays.Guest review byEfstathiaGreece
