- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 6 reviewsThe host, Konstantina, was very kind and helpful, she met us at the port and drove us to the villa where she gave us a lot of tips and recommendations about local restaurants and beaches. The villa itself really is a dream, every part of it is studied in the details and feels like a little angle of paradise. The location is very convenient for every part of the island (Patitiri, Chora, Kalamakia can all be reached by just a 15 minute drive). The outdoors is the part that will make you fall deeply in love with Anemolia Dream Villa, and the interior design is just the cherry on top of it. The linen is provided by the host and there is a cleaning service twice a week, in addition a pool boy will come every morning to take care of the pool and the outdoor spaces.Guest review byAndreaItaly
- From US$152 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 67 reviewsThis really is the perfect place to stay on the island. The owner and the staff are soooooo kind and beautiful humans. We felt super welcome from the moment we got there. They also gave us many very good recommendations for the island. The room was big enough and super clean with a very comfy bed. The view from the room and the balcony was stunning. Never felt more comfortable in a room. You can choose from a wide range of breakfast choices every day, which they prepare for you freshly every morning. Everything was super delicious. The port is just a couple of stairs down with the best restaurant on the island. To make it even more perfect this place is eco friendly and very sustainable.Guest review byBeatrixGermany
- From US$102.30 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 428 reviewsabsolutely everything, we stayed for two nights, best room we have had ( we have been island hopping) best breakfast we had all holiday, Mary was so accommodating, lovely breakfast- everything you need to hand. Mary spent time showing us the best bits of the island as we was only there for a short stay. hotel is ideal location. air con was good but we chose to leave the balcony door open so we could have a sea breeze in the evenings/ night. shower was outstanding. couldn’t fault the hotel- easy walk up. beautiful view from the room ( we had a side room) really glad me chose this hotel. thanks Mary and team xGuest review byNiaUnited Kingdom
- From US$72.49 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 68 reviewsThe people at the reception are welcoming, kind and helpful. The view from the balcony is amazing. The mattress is extremely comfortable! A beautiful beach with nice restaurants is less than 1 minute walk. Despite the room being small and a bit outdated it included all necessities (small kitchen, fridge, toaster, kettle, basin, etc) to make the stay comfortable and pleasurableGuest review byglbudItaly
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 62 reviewsSimply wonderful. A small piece of paradise near Steni Vala. Excellent space, with cozy rooms, built in the same style of elevated spaces used in traditional houses, with majestic views of Peristera island from the spacious balconies. All of which though would say little, unless one added Katerina's warm hospitality and careful touches in making the place a serene Shangri-La.Guest review byΔημοσθένηςGreece

The rooms are new, with tasteful interiors and high-quality linens. The food is always fresh and delicious. But the true highlight of this hotel is the staff — warm, welcoming, and full of energy. It was a real pleasure to be your guests. Thank you for making our stay so special!Guest review byIevgeniiAustria

Alonnissos has great beaches, excellent food (traditional and modern), nice weather and a few folklore and antiquities (mainly on the Ottoman period, while some underwater archaeological sites are developing right now). It's good to have a car (and even better a 4X4), since most beaches are not in walking distance. Chora (the old village) is really pittoresque.Guest review byCostisGreece - 10.0

Nice quiet location, close to nearby markets and a very good souvlaki / gyros place - very tasty and very good value. If you like walking, Milia beach is not far and Spartines is perfect on a calm day. In Patitiri the restaurant we liked most was Bacco. This is authentic Italian with beautiful pasta and pizza, prepared by the very pleasant Italian who provides a good range of beautiful Italian wines at modest prices- wines that have been well cared for despite the heat of summer. A wonderful place to relax and dine. A good range of imported fine Italian ingredients ranging from a pasta to wine and cheeses can be bought from this restaurant.Guest review byChristopher - 8.0
The island is beautiful, very green, wonderful beaches.
The island is beautiful, very green, wonderful beaches. The village is super cute and overall it is a fantastic place with loads of history. Would definitely recommend it for people who wish to have a peaceful, easy going and relaxing holiday! Ideal for couples and families. Some of the restaurants could use an upgrade on the menu. Traditional greek food has a lot more to offer than the standard menu most restaurants offer in the island.Guest review byEpistemeUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Steni Vala is a small fishing village, now used by yachts over night. There are lots of excellent taverns. Most offer accommodation. You can spend time just people watching. Eat and drink talking to the locals who are very friendly, some are famous. There is a dive centre and water activity’s. Beaches are Peebles.Guest review bySaraGreece - 10.0

Quiet bay with small sand and pebble beach, water is calm and great for swimming and snorkelling. A few houses and apartments around bay, 5-10 minute walk to Steni Vala on a good path, however path is rough for pulling a case if arrive by bus.Guest review byJoanneUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The bay is a little off the beaten track, so a car, scooter or a longish and steep walk is needed. There are coastal walks you can take to move to beaches further north. There are a couple of bars next to the Milia beach, with umbrellas and beds on the beach., although there is also plenty of free beach either side of this.Guest review byNeilItaly - 10.0

Alonnisos and Patitiri is one of our favorite islands in Greece. This is the fourth time we have visited the island and there will be another visit next year. Here, life still goes smoothly, little stress, not overcrowded with tourists. And then they have the "best" Greek restaurant "OSTRIA" we have experienced in our 29 years of holidays in Greece. If you like seafood, try the unique mussel dish they have... superb!Guest review bySmall4estNorway - 10.0

We didn't have a car so it was easy to be there in the evening and use the restaurants there. Two local supermarkets too. We found a path to Patatiri which we could walk in 20 minutes (but not with a suitcase). Also a local beach & others you could walk toGuest review byJudy FUnited Kingdom - 8.0
We loved the old town and the beaches were gorgeous.
We loved the old town and the beaches were gorgeous. The amazing smell of the wild fig trees was amazing as you drove around the island. We were only disappointed with the port town of Patitri which was a bit rundown. We felt 2 nights in Alonnisos is perfect. Stay in old town and there are a couple of great restaurants and an amazing piano bar for after dinner - so fun. Great spots to sit and have drinks in the center as well.Guest review byJillUnited States - 10.0

Middle to end of May was so very quiet and peaceful, you need car to get around to the many beaches and fishing ports, Old Town and wonderful restaurants. It was a little cold at the start of our trip 21st May and we needed a fleece for the evenings. The sea was fresh, but warmed up towards the end of May. If you want quiet, peace and relaxation a great place to visit in early or late season. If you want a little more then visit July / August where it is much warmer, the bars are open and it much busier, with sunbeds on the beach and music in many bars on the beach. If you want to enjoy some Spa Treatments, Lunch, Cocktails, then visit Infinity 180 / The Amani 180 - need to book. This is a family business and Sharon, Mark, Luke and Ewa will make you very WelcomeGuest review byChristineUnited Kingdom
