- From US$211.34 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 31 reviewsWe stayed at Morton House for one night as part of a cycling trip. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed - really comfortable, central location, spacious…. There’s even a piano 🤣. We had a couple of last minute changes to our group numbers and Michelle (the owner) was really understanding and very helpfulGuest review byLizUnited Kingdom

Owners (and their gorgeous dogs) were welcoming and friendly. Jude provided us with a delicious breakfast each morning, along with suggestion of places to go. Within walking distance of both the breweries in Masham. 🥰Guest review byAnne-MarieUnited Kingdom
- From US$429.39 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 225 reviewsWe loved walking the extensive grounds and appreciated the size of our room. Our bathroom alone was the size of some hotel rooms. The port tasting was fun. The highlight was the owl and hawk experience, which was beyond fabulous. The place has a great and very accommodating staff.Guest review byKateUnited States

Not too much to see in Masham itself.
Not too much to see in Masham itself. Would have loved to see the sheep fair but loads to do in the area, Druids Temple, Thorp Perrow was amazing fabulous grounds saw the owl flying display, goats, wallabies & meerkats and a lovely tea roomGuest review byGlennysUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Everything was brilliant from the location, the welcoming atmosphere, the food was on point, staff friendly and accommodating, great walks and a chippy across the road too! My partner and I stayed in the purple room which has 2 double beds. This was great news to me after a few drinks and a few sheets to the wind. A short walk up a flight of stairs and I had my own bed ! No flatulence or 💤 😂 beds are comfy too.Guest review byCheryl - 10.0
Burley in Wharfedale was a nice surprise.
Burley in Wharfedale was a nice surprise. As well as the obvious terrain of the Yorkshire Dales for hill walking, the town was a great base. Walks on the upland moors, and many well-maintained paths through the upper farm lands. The town itself has lots of footpaths throughout the town, so its easy to avoid just walking along the streets, and many green spaces with extensive play facilities. A good selection of restaurants and general purpose shops. Though parking is a premium in this popular location.Guest review byRogerUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We liked the location, architecture and high quality maintenance of Timble Hamlet and the Timble Inn. Its rural location, beautiful countryside, and walks. The decor, rooms, layout, cleanliness, standard of service, friendliness all excellent. There was nothing to dislike.Guest review byMarcoUnited Kingdom - 8.0
The accommodation was very good.
The accommodation was very good. I failed to notice that it was accommodation only and not B and B, although breakfast was available at the pub down the street. We catered for ourselves in the well equipped kitchen.Guest review byDerekUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Views were fantastic. Easy to get to Harrogate every day.
Views were fantastic. Easy to get to Harrogate every day. I am not a fan of chemical toilet, but considering the difficulties of putting in anything else it was totally understandable. The road was very rough, but as it was a farm road this was not really surprising. The views were superb. Lovely and quiet place to stay. Clean and had everything needed. Would go again, but not for more than 2 nights because of the loo.Guest review byCarolUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The footpath from Lofthouse to Middlesmoor was a short stroll up the hill (albeit with some nettles). The circular walk to Scar House Reservoir was 9.8miles, an OS map was handy as the path disappears at points. Stock up on supplies at Pateley Bridge as we did not see any grocery stores in Lofthouse.Guest review byMadeinliaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Ideal to explore North Yorkshire moors with its picturesque villages and outstanding views. Plenty of interesting attractions to visit, also larger places to see ( York, Harrogate etc.) For those who have a caravan this is an ideal site for a stop-over.Guest review bySlade - 10.0
Lovely village and very friendly.
Lovely village and very friendly. Great for getting about in the area . Plenty of tea shops and eating places ,plus takeaways, and gift shops to browse. Plus a great sweet shop. On some Sundays they have all different genre of music in the bandstand in the park. Something for everyone.Guest review byRobertUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I know Burley well.
I know Burley well. I had grandparents and now relatives in Burley. It is a delightful village which maintains its charm. And still has a rail service! This is not William writing this review. It is his wife.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom
