- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 10 reviewsTo wake up in absolute silence and see squirrels bussy in the nearby trees and finches on the edge of the terrace is adding to the luxurious feeling of calmness and well-being this spacious and well equipped home offers. We enjoyed the beautiful smell of forest air and the silence of just wind. But what really made our stay outstanding and unforgettable was the ever changing light fall and the play of shadows on the lake and the surrounding hills. We couldn't keep our eyes off it. The image on the picture is what you see from your room. A magical place! Thank you Catriona for your good care.Guest review byGerbenNetherlands
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 545 reviewsAbsolutely amazing inn! The confit duck is to die for, and the staff are top-notch. The atmosphere is really welcoming and cosy, and the room is charming. I also really liked that you pre-order your breakfast, and I generally felt really catered to. The location is to die for as well; a stone throw away from the local railway station.Guest review byStine BråtveitNorway

Quiet village off the main road but within easy access of it. Some guest houses, a railway station ( Oban to Glasgow line ), bus / coach stops, a general ( food ) store off the centre. No restaurant, cafe, food stands, pubs nor bars however. Walking paths from the quiet road to the Duncan Ban Macintyre monument, quiet side roads to Stronmilchan (Old Military Road ) and along the river Orchy. Easy access by car, bus, coach, ( care if walking along the main road ) to Kilchurn Castle and to the Kilchurn Castle Viewpoint on the side road to Inveraray.Guest review byMichaelUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Riverside Cottage B&b is a fantastic place located in a paradise, beautiful, quiet, clean, cosy, adorable. Graham is a fantastic person, a great host, an artist, you should see what he can create with wood and, Graham and his wife love dogs and this is a super plus for me. Wish I will be able to return soon and enjoy some more of this paradise. Grazie e arrivederci, Loredana, Edoardo, Lella e Marisa.Guest review byEdoardoItaly - 10.0

Beautiful village, very quiet, with incredible views of the Loch Awe. There is not much around so be aware of that, but as long as groceries are done before there is no problem. There was a coffee shop there (not open every day), but we did not have time to try it out.Guest review byJeanneFrance - 10.0

Breath taking scenery. You can’t help but feel relaxed here. Lots of paddle boarders and kayakers with easy access to Loch. Some great places to eat - both Kilcreggan Inn and Taycreggan Hotel had great service and excellent food as well as welcoming dogs. Look forward to visiting this area again.Guest review byGillianUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Eredine is a very small collection of houses, within a forest location, halfway down a 25 mile single track road. It is very peaceful, and has walks on the doorstep. The nearest shop is 15 miles away,so preplanning is required. A car is a must here. It's steep and uneven location is not really suitable for people finding walking hard Nature is full on here so are the views of Loch and forests, great for a getaway.Guest review byClicketyclickUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Dalmally is actually a 15 minute drive from Ardbrecknish and there is a fantastic Kirk there you need to see. Some English home owners have their “private property” and “no trespassing” signs up which enrages me no end, this is my land and I’ll roam where I feel like it.Guest review byChristopherUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We chose to stay in Cladich as we had booked a Highland Cow tour at the Cladich Fold. The planned route from Arrochar to Inveraray was scuppered by a landslide but easy alternative route in was just as scenic. About 10 miles from Inveraray to get an evening meal.Guest review byDavid BulleyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Stunningly beautiful area to rent a holiday home.
Stunningly beautiful area to rent a holiday home. Remote but friendly hamlet. Lovely walks amongst forests or Loch from the back door . Dogs welcome and wildlife in abundance from red squirrels , deer , woodpeckers and much more. Waterfalls, highland cows and views. Cosy comfortable cottage with every amenity and the most comfortable bed and pillows. Take what you need and embrace yourself in ArgyllGuest review byPamUnited Kingdom
