- From US$166.39 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 415 reviewsThis is an older, more traditional style of hotel, but personally I prefer that. The facilities were all that one would expect of a modern hotel (except that there isn't a lift). The hotel is on the main street in the centre of town, but they had their own car park, so parking my car was easy. My room was very nice, and quite spacious. The en-suite was a good size. The bed was very comfy, with nice big pillows. I had a drink in the bar (local beer - very good) and ate in the restaurant on both nights of my stay and was very pleased. The "head waiter" was particularly good - very efficient and friendly, without being over the top. The other staff were also very efficient and the food was very good. The breakfast was also very nice.Guest review byRichardAustralia

They went out of their way for us, very attentive at dinner, which was delicious. We can recommend the breakfast too. The cabanas were super cute and really nice, will definitely come again.Guest review byBrittaGermany

Good base for the area.
Good base for the area. Both FFestiniog and Welsh Highland narrow gauge railways stop in the town. Portmeiron 5 min drive. Harlech just a bit further. Easy to go sightsee Keith Brymer Jones (Pottery Throwdown) chapel conversion nearby, as on TV seriesGuest review byMagorUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Criccieth is worth a visit.
Criccieth is worth a visit. Residents very helpful and friendly. Quite hilly in parts. Beach was lovely and clean. Take shop opening times with a pinch of salt 😉 A small, quiet village feel but enough to keep you occupied.Guest review byFletcherUnited Kingdom - 10.0

My family originated from Nefyn and I had lost a great great grandfather to a shipwreck off Anglesey( the Royal Charter). The Maritime Museum was good and I enjoyed the Bara Brith. The beach was stunning even with the wind and rain. The sunny day we left in showed us the interchange between sea and hills and the dazzling bright colours of the foliage. Loved the sheep and cattle too in the fields.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

We travelled by train from Machyllneth to Pwllheli, then caught a bus to Ederyn. Both journeys were beautiful and inexpensive. The walks around the area are beautiful, with open countryside, distant peaks and sea views. It was not crowded, even in August.Guest review byGranny GUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I loved the setting - peaceful, quiet and atmospheric.
I loved the setting - peaceful, quiet and atmospheric. Completely self-catered which suited my personal needs. Directions were clear and and helpful. Proximity to the coast path was a bonus - good base for accessing other areas - off the beaten track but not too inaccessible.Guest review byDeborahUnited Kingdom - 10.0
