    Downton Abbey in the heart of Manchester . Step back in time, incredible from the outside , amazing on the inside. From the many smartly suited reception staff, concierge and guest services staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The elevated Martini style bar just opposite reception entices you to try out there many offerings, with that extra temptation of delectable savouries and snacks. The beds were extremely comfortable and the hotel was kept at the perfect temperature throughout. Had no time to try the spa out. Location wise is perfect , China town 5 minutes walk. Sports bars, would recommend 'The Box' just over 5 minutes away. Lots of trendy bars on the same street as the hotel. Tram stop just 5 minutes away, we went to the Trafford centre, 1 change, same stop, £3.80. 20 minutes on the tram. We look forward to staying again next time we are in Manchester. Keep up the excellent standards *****

    I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel and the incredibly friendly staff as I was not particularly happy about having to book a hotel (early flight and no available taxis). I thought it would be noisy but it was really quiet. The room was large with two very comfy double beds. We were picked up at the station and dropped off at Terminal 1 - less than 5 mins away - and both times that was super efficient and friendly. It makes all the difference at 4am! We ate in the bar and that was great too.

    Been wanting to stay here since peaky blinders! Beautiful art deco building. There is renovation work going on outside but made aware before stay. The interior deco is quirky. Room was spacious, funky & bed soooo comfy didnt want to get up. Staff cheerful, polite & helpful work very hard seem to enjoy their job. This is my new Manchester hotel. Will be heading back to experience the roof top bar with a clockwork orange cocktail. Thank you for a memorable stay. Highly recommend 👌

    Such a vibrant city with so much to see and do. Enjoyed the Frog & Bucket comedy club, the Football Museum and a trip down to Media City and the Lowry Exhibition. Tram service was really good and easy to get around.

    the hotel is very conveniently positioned opposite terminal 2 which means all the other terminals and the train station are easily reached. Room was small and just right for me. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was okay but people expecting full english breakfast need to look elsewhere.

    I visit Bolton quite regularly and it's full of interesting history. It has som great restaurants. And the Cherry Tree in Blackrod has tbe best steak I know. Frasers Butchers also is top shelf, with their Pork Pies and Pork Sausages an absolute stand out.

    I love the free parking.

    I love the free parking. Their bed and spa is fabulous 👌 I love their menu with fish. The Privilege king rooms are fabulous with a bath and shower. The rooms are spacious and the staff are great and helpful. I have been visiting the hotel for a few years now and always happy to stay there on all of my trips to Manchester.

    Stockport´s location in a ravine with a Victorian viaduct...

    Stockport´s location in a ravine with a Victorian viaduct towering overhead makes for a very unusual and intriguing town. Also most interesting are the timber frame houses one finds from Tudor times. Lots of pubs and not generic ones either.

    Awful place, shouldn’t be listed on booking.com give the website a bad name! Nothing like the photos, rooms dirty, unhygienic, no light bulb, shared toilets had no locks, no as basically like staying in a hostel do not waste ur money I highly regret it!!!! Couldn’t wait to leave

    The kitchen was well equipped.

    The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom had the waw factor and the shower was powerful. Great location to the vollage with cafes, bars and charity shops. Abanny Hall was a short walk away and the Greater Manchester Walking Trail was just up the road.

    Everything was absolutely perfect regarding my hotel Just unfortunately there wasn't the possibility for an early check in the room wasn't ready propably as I had asked for a room near the lift My elderly father has mobility issues. We did really see Worsley.
