- From US$210.07 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 513 reviewsExtraordinary stay, in a wonderful B&B overlooking the bay - what else to ask for!! The house is absolutely beautiful, the room was massive and beautifully furnished. We had a big balcony with a dreamy view on the bay, and the service! Sheila made sure we were well looked after, and even waited for us even though we arrived later than expected. Make sure you save time for the breakfast, you cannot miss out on the food! Everything about this stay was so perfect and peaceful, I cannot recommend it enough!! Highlight of the stay as mentioned was the view, and the bed!! Probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. If you are in the area and are looking for a place to stay, no need to further look because this is it! Absolutely loved it, and Sheila will make sure you have the best stay possible!Guest review byChiaraItaly
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 406 reviewsLocated along the north coast, it’s a great spot for exploring. There’s a very personal touch with this hotel, and we were made to feel very welcome. The breakfast was cooked to perfection, as was the evening meal. We sat in the lounge in front of the fire in the afternoon and enjoyed the ambiance of a very tastefully decorated room. Thanks for such a lovely stay.Guest review bynicolaAustralia

A poor and unattractive place.
A poor and unattractive place. Most shops were empty and nothing was looked after, except a superb flower garden around a statue in a little square near the hotel. It was difficult to find somewhere nice to eat. Quite depressing environment.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 6.0

John O Groats is a very small place. which sort of has to be visited if your in the area. I wouldn't rate it as a destination if it wasn't for the fact its the northern most point on mainland UKGuest review byKarenUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Everything surpassed expectations.
Everything surpassed expectations. I had the most peaceful night that I can remember, the facilities were spot on, the views were spectacular and one immediately felt a peacefulness that I can only describe as sublime. The caravan itself was immaculate and I particularly liked the decking which had double doors opening out on to it. The provisions left were outstanding, the layout and size of the rooms made it easy for us of advanced age to navigate , the beds comfortable and the washing and showering facilities very clean and easy to use.Guest review byEdgar - 10.0

The proprietors Euan & Emma were excellent company and very attentive to guests' needs. The hotel had an excellent menu with accompanying wines, beers, spirits, if required. The hotel also had an extensive range of locally-produced spirits. The accommodation was excellent and well-equipped. The only down-side was the lack of TV reception - although being without TV was somewhat of a blessing!Guest review byBrianUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A really lovely hotel. Food (breakfast and dinner) was amazing (apart from Tart Tatin very soggy pastry). Staff professional, helpful and friendly. Disappointed couldn’t have a cocktail at bar. However, a fab place to stay.Guest review byCatrinaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
