The Hotel is neat and good. Fantastic location to stay. Very friendly staff and nice hospitality. The staff speaks very kindly and supports us throughout the stay. Will definitely recommend for a lovely stay in farm.

We stayed one night at Phoenix Farm in the shepherds hut, and it was exactly what we hoped for. The hut was beautifully decorated, and well equipped, with an added bonus of cream teas upon arrival, and fresh eggs for sale just outside. There is wood stove with kindling and logs provided, which was handy when the hut gets chilly in the evenings, so that it quickly became cosy! It was fantastic to experience the ponies just outside our enclosed area, as well as two tiny lambs curled up by our door step when we woke in the morning, with their mum nearby.. which made the stay even more special and rememberable! Only critism would be that the shower was not hot enough, but due to the limitations of such accomodation it is understandable, and wouldn't be a problem in the summer.

When we arrived the accommodation was warm, clean and welcoming. The little welcome/tea coffee and bathroom bits were a lovely touch. Everything was pristine and well laid out. We had an additional suprise as wasn't expecting a cinema room aswell as the sauna/jacuzzi room. We had an email from the reception lady during our stay welcoming us and letting us know she's around should we need anything. We saw some squirrels and the birdsong in the morning was so peaceful. There is a huge seating area upstairs- but was a little too cold to make use of it dispite the bit of sun we had. There is all the amenities you could possibly need, washer/dryer and dishwasher included. We came when in the week so the site was very quiet and peaceful. One of the nicest places we've stayed so far, definitely worth booking. Having health issues relating to mobility it was nice everything was on one level inside. Few steps up into the accommodation but no struggling when in. And parking right outside. Getting the keys etc was easy as in a lock box and cameras around the site for security, coded gate to get in etc.

We loved the lodge. Sally and her daughter were amazing hosts. Really friendly and helpful. The location is great, rural and quiet but lots to do a short drive away. Our only niggle was the bed needs a new mattress. It sinks in the middle. But it won't stop us staying there again. Thank you for a wonderful break ☺️

Cosy and warm ,well equipped cottage . We were welcomed with a lit Xmas tree . There was a log fire available,which we didn’t need but so lovely to have available. Lots of pre stay information sent to us prior to our stay . Set in quiet location ,but close enough to attractions .
